-Monday-

From the darkness, Danny Johnson watched a young woman as she made her way across the street to her house. He was clad in black from head to foot and he carried a camera in his hand. A worn messenger bag hung from his side filled with various photos of previous victims, a notebook and pens for writing down information, an old flip phone, a tactical knife and duct tape for when he felt like tormenting his victims further. Danny had no intentions to kill his coworker that night or anytime soon, the items in his bag were things he always carried with him while stalking – it made it all more thrilling. He quickly snapped a photo of her as she walked up the steps, then another when she was at the door.

Danny had been stalking her on and off for a few months now, but this was the first time he had followed her home. He really wanted to drag this one out as he had a thing for the girl, an obsession even. He had it out for her on the first day they met when their boss introduced him to her, all she could offer was an unenthused 'hey' before turning back around in her chair. She was the only one at Fall River Gazette that gave him the cold shoulder. The way she'd glare at him every time he'd speak up in meetings, when she would ignore him when he'd greet her, and how she would look away when they passed each other. It all fueled his desire to slice her up, to slaughter her like swine. Little did she know that all the times she caught him smiling at her was because he was fantasizing about jabbing his knife into her gut, running the blade across her collar bone, or carving a smile onto that haughty face of hers. She was cute, there was no doubt about that, just a rotten attitude.

Danny loved when she wore her lilac locks up in teddy bear buns, and his favorite lipstick that she adorned on her sullen lips was the sea foam green, it went so well with the color of her hair. She had a quirky sense of fashion with outfits that ranged from colorful to dark, she was so aesthetically pleasing to look upon. He couldn't wait to have her photo on his wall, maybe he could coax a smile out of her if he promised not to stab her again. What a beautiful photograph that would be, her smiling face with blood dripping from her mouth as he held her close like they were the greatest pals on earth. The thought was driving his urge to kill her higher, to bring it back down, he retrieved the journal from his bag and by the dim light of the flip phone he documented the street name under her name, Autumn Carter.

After a few moments of waiting and checking to see if the coast was clear, the stalker crossed the street and made his way around to the side of the small house. There were two windows, one was concealed by a blind, but he examined it to see if there were any bent or broken slats. Nothing. The window down the way lit up and he crept over to it, to his delight, the blind was pulled up about four inches. Danny carefully peered in and seen that he was looking into a bedroom and there turned to the side was Autumn, taking her coat off. He then stepped back a little to make sure the white face of his mask wasn't illuminated by the light. His heart pounded against his chest as she began to undress. How did he get so fortunate? Most people kept the blinds down and the curtain pulled in their bedroom, but not this cat. Perhaps she was one of those folks who believed that nothing bad could happen to them, how absolutely thrilling. She'll be even more horrified when he comes in for the first stab. Danny held his camera up and made sure the flash was off, he then began taking photos of the unsuspecting girl. Down her jeans went to her ankles, exposing her cheekie underwear. He zoomed in on the baby blue lacy frills and snapped a few photos. Next, she removed her shirt to reveal her braless bosom. That didn't come as a surprise as everyone at the office could tell she didn't wear one, it was a popular discussion with the men. Her breasts weren't huge, but they were still nice to look at. Danny didn't discriminate anyway, tits were tits. Again, he began photographing her, being sure to get clear shots of her breasts. He had really lucked out on this one, an excellent choice.

Danny ceased his picture taking to simply watch his victim as she moved across her room in nothing but her panties. She threw her clothes in a hamper before turning on the television that sat on the dresser. The young woman then flipped the lights off and crawled into bed. With her back to the window, Danny moved closer so that he could scope out the inside of her room. It was a bit difficult just going by the light of the television, but it was enough to create a mental picture of how he might enter. He could use the door of course, but there was also the window, he wondered if it was even locked. He may not even attack her in her room, but why miss out on the chance to gut a nude chick in her own bed? The thought made his heart race with excitement. Before he let his desire take over, Danny pried himself from the window and walked away. He had plenty of excellent shots of Autumn to tide him over for awhile, to tame his ever growing urge to kill her. His knife may have to pay someone else a visit... Perhaps that guy at the bar who spilled his drink all over him and proceeded to curse him out over it. He lived alone and kept the back door unlocked, thinking a mere fence would keep the Ghost Face away. How utterly wrong he was... Danny blew a kiss toward Autumn's window then slinked off into the darkness toward Todd Steven's residence.
