Hello, I would like to apologize for my lack of updates. I've been celebrating birthdays and enjoying the fall weather and spooky festivities. I've also been working on a new story. It's been archived for years and I was once very passionate about it. It will be a Ghost fan-fiction about the Ghouls. I love them. I'm not a huge fan like I used to be, but I've always been intrigued by the band and I've wrote so many stories about the Ghouls, but I've never published a story for multiple reasons. Danny and Autumn are still my favorite though. Ghost Face is my comfort character, I just needed to step away for a while because there's going to be some big decisions that I need to make with this story. Like always, thank you for reading my tale. And a very special thank you to those who have kept up with it. I have a lot of readers vanish after a while. Not sure if they find something offensive or cringey. Whatever it is, I continue to write as it's my joy. Also, sorry for the short chapter.❤️

Danny awoke the next morning to the smell of something cooking. He quickly discovered that his arms were empty and so was the bed beside him. He sat up and seen the door was wide open and the light from the hallway flooded the bedroom doorway. Danny got up and put on a pair of boxers before heading out of the room. He heard noise coming from the kitchen and that's where he found Autumn. Bright eyed and cooking breakfast. Danny came up beside her and gingerly put his hand on her back. She jumped slightly and looked over at him with wide eyes.

"O-Oh, Jed!" she sighed with relief when she realized who it was. "Good morning!"

"Good morning, Auty, I didn't mean to scare you," he said before planting a kiss on her cheek. "I'm sure you're sick of surprises..."

"Just unpleasant ones," she replied with a snicker.

Danny was surprised by her lightheartedness, it was like nothing had happened at all. Was she truly okay? "Right, no more unpleasant ones." He kissed her again on the cheek before stepping away from her. "You're up awful early, is everything alright?" he asked heading over to the coffee pot. Sweet Autumn had already made him a pot.

"Yeah, I'm great. I just woke up around 4:30 and I was super hot and sweaty. I'm surprised you didn't wake up when I unstuck myself from your skin," she told him in a cheerful tone. "I couldn't go back to sleep so I just decided to get up and make breakfast. Sugar is on the table by the way."

And so it was, a long with the table set for two. Danny went over and began pouring sugar into his mug. "How come you couldn't go back to sleep?" he asked.

Autumn shrugged. "I dunno, I was hot and w-wide awake."

Danny walked back over to her and leaned against the counter. "You sure everything is alright, sugar?"

She looked over at him and nodded. "Mhm. Are you alright?" she asked moving the skillet from the hot burner.

"If you're alright, I'm alright." He took a sip from his mug.

Autumn smiled. "Then everything is alright. Now go sit."

"Can I help with anything?" Danny asked.

"Nope, I got it. Th-Thank you though," she replied.

Danny sat down at the table while Autumn brought the food to the table. He felt bad that she was serving him, but he didn't say anything in fear he would ruin her happy mood. Something just seemed off though. No one finds out their fiancé is a murderer then goes on about their life like normal. That's what he wanted her to do though so why was he making a big deal out of it?

"Thank you, Auty, I really appreciate you making breakfast. I never eat before work, mainly because I don't feel like cooking," Danny said forking a piece of sausage. He realized that he wasn't going to be sleeping in this morning, but at least he was with Autumn.
