It had been weeks since Danny had spoken with Autumn. He had been entirely cut off from her except through Victoria's partner who was giving him updates on her since he was the one looking after her since Richard went back to work. Danny hated that he was spending so much time with her, but he was his only link to Autumn. Kim and Richard refused to speak to him after what happened at the funeral home and Autumn had him blocked. He was still being made to be in a relationship with Victoria which was oddly going alright now that Autumn had completely shut him out. He still had Autumn on his mind though, but his anxiety involving the situation was becoming easier to manage. Danny was still trying to come up with a plan to get out of all of this.

Danny entered into the gazette with Victoria's hand in his. This was his doing since complying and being loving towards her made the situation more bearable. Danny practically had her wrapped around his finger, especially after he stalked a young couple attending the college in town and planned their murder. He did it just for her so she could live out her fantasy of murdering with him. It was fun in a way, but Danny preferred to be alone.

"Hey, could we go out for lunch today? As like a celebration for having our first murder together published in the paper?" Victoria asked once they were at her desk.

"Absolutely, that sounds like a wonderful idea, babe," Danny replied. "Where would you like to go?"

"I'm craving Italian, we should go to that new place in town," she said with her red lips turned up in a smile.

"Okay, that sounds good. I'll probably have to-" Danny stopped when he saw the front door open and in walked Richard and Kim followed by a face that made his heart palpitate and his stomach flutter with butterflies. It was Autumn, and she had her black and pink hair up in teddybear buns with sea-foam green lips and the cardigan she wore was pastel pink and purple with bunny ears on the hood. She had a nervous look on her face, but a smile stretched across her face when Charlotte got up and excitedly made her way over to the nervous young woman. In that moment, Danny couldn't think of anything else but Autumn.

Victoria's eyes traveled to where Danny was looking and her heart sank into her stomach. Everything had been going so well, but here was that little white rabbit to ruin it all. Victoria got ahold of herself though before she lashed out and made things worse. Benjamin had been kind enough to allow her one last chance and she wasn't going to screw it up. "You'll probably have to what, babe?" she questioned in a cheerful tone.

Danny was afraid of taking his eyes off of Autumn in fear he wouldn't see her again, but he forced himself to. "I-I'll probably have to make reservations, it always looks packed when I pass by it," he said, forcing a smile onto his face. "If I can't get a reservation there, where else would you like to go?" He was trying to make it seem like he wasn't interested in Autumn.

Pleased with his behavior, Victoria responded with, "You know what? Just surprise me, okay?"

"Sounds good to me." Danny leaned in and gave her a tender kiss on the lips. "I love you."

Victoria felt like she had melted into a puddle. This was the first time he had said that. "I-I love you too... very much," she replied softly.

Danny smiled at her warmly and caressed her face before turning to go to his desk. Victoria watched him for a bit to see if he was watching Autumn, but he wasn't. He sat down and turned his computer on. Suddenly, there was a squeal from Charlotte that got everyone's attention.

"Yes! I'd love to see the photos!" she exclaimed excitedly.

Danny couldn't help but to watch now. Autumn got into her bunny bag and pulled out what looked like an ultrasound photo. She handed it to Charlotte and the plump lady gasped.
