A/N: I'm going to try and split my chapters in half instead of publishing one long one. I feel like I might be able to post more often. I've just been so out of sorts lately. I'm hoping to get more motivated and back on track. I may start working in other stories as well. We'll see how this goes. So here's a not so long chapter.

Danny pulled out of the coffee shop and drove to a gas station where he went inside. He shoved his hands into his coat pockets to hide his bloody knuckles as he made his way to the bathroom. He turned the faucet on and ran his shaky hands under the cold water, washing the blood from his busted knuckles. It was okay, everything was fine. Autumn was easy to persuade, he just needed to explain himself. Perhaps it was best to leave her a message so when she did turn her phone on she would listen to it. Danny got his phone out and called her. Straight to her voicemail again. "Bunny, I love you and I only want you. I know this looks really, really bad. I-I knew you were possibly going to lose your job. Harold told me earlier today. I didn't want to say anything. I was waiting to tell you because I didn't want you to worry about anything right now, that's why I didn't tell you about the coffee because I'd have to tell you about Victoria and your job. It was not a date at all, strictly business. I don't want to work with her, Auty, I want to work with you. We're not over. I'll be to pick you up tomorrow morning like planned and you're coming home with me. You're not going to have to be alone, you're going to be safe with me. Everything is alright, Auty. I love you and I'll see you tomorrow."

Danny ended the call and put his phone away. He still felt irate and panicked. What he wanted to do more than anything was to go get Autumn and take her home with him, but he also wanted to cut Victoria's head off. He couldn't do that though, he was getting careless and sloppy. Danny just needed to get ahold of himself. He walked out of the bathroom with his knuckles still bleeding, he didn't feel any pain though, it must've been because of the adrenaline. He grabbed an energy drink from the cooler and walked up to the register. "I need a pack of Marlboro reds also, please," he told the clerk. He noticed her eyeing his injured hand.

"You alright, mister?" she asked when she turned back around.

Danny put on his best smile. "Absolutely, thank you for asking," he replied.

"Yeah, sure..." she said.

Danny paid for his stuff and left. He sat in his car and drank his energy drink and chain smoked until his mind was clearer. He still didn't feel any better though, he wouldn't until he saw Autumn. If he did go as Ghost Face and kidnap her, where would he take her? What if she freaked out? Danny tried to think everything through but he was so hellbent on seeing Autumn that he was willing to take any and all chances. It was getting late, so he needed to decide what exactly he was going to do.

Back at Kim's, Autumn's eyes were getting heavy. She had cried and cried until she just couldn't cry anymore. Richard had a significant wet spot on his shirt, but he didn't say anything for obvious reasons. By the time the movie was over, Autumn had fallen asleep. Richard carried Autumn to Kim's room and laid her down on the bed. The other two decided it was best it if they just went to bed as well. The night had been a bust, not because of Autumn, but because of people like Victoria. Kim was almost positive that Jed had no intentions of hurting Autumn, it had to have been a misunderstanding. If he truly had went on a date with that girl, he was a total dick. Especially for taking Autumn in, caring for her and asking her to be his girlfriend during a really messed up time in her life. Kim didn't believe that was the case though, perhaps things would be better in the morning.

Autumn woke up soaked in sweat, burning up, and in excruciating pain. She found herself in bed between Kim and Richard, under a heavy comforter. Kim was nestled into her side and Richard had her hugged up. While she felt rather safe and secure, it was quite miserable due to being sweaty and in pain. There was no way she could continue to lay like that. She didn't know who to wake up though. She guessed since Richard was the one who was on her the most that he needed to be the one. "R-Richard..." Autumn whispered poking him on the arm. He moved slightly then hugged her tighter. "R... Richard," she said louder.
