As soon as Autumn was fast asleep, Danny got up from the couch and quickly changed into his Ghost Face attire. He was eager to get back out there on the streets to bring more terror to the town, and keep Autumn paranoid so that she wouldn't dare think about leaving him. At this point, obsession seemed like an understatement; he still wanted to be careful with her feelings though, he didn't want to hurt her.
When Danny Returned to the living room, he gingerly scooped the slumbering girl up from the couch and sat back down, placing her on his lap. There was time to spare for a few more cuddles before he left to prowl the dark streets. He cradled Autumn close to his chest with much care, softly stroking her cheek with his gloved hand as he watched Pumpkinhead brutally murder the reckless teenagers through the dark eyes of his mask. Autumn had expressed her fondness for the film, but fell asleep before it even came on. That was alright, they could watch it tomorrow night with some takeout or whatever she chose.
After about twenty minutes or so, Danny took Autumn to his room where he laid her down. She was in such a deep sleep that if she wasn't so warm and limber, he might've been a bit concerned. He just hoped she would be alright while he was gone and stay asleep so that he wouldn't have to make up a reason for not being home. Danny pulled the covers over her and lifted his mask up slightly to give her a quick peck on the forehead. He then creeped out the window to his room where he kept all of his costumes, photos, and knives. If the police were to ever search his house, he would be done for. Actually, a quick glance in his wallet would get him a trip downtown. Crazy and reckless, but that's how Danny liked it. The thought of having evidence so close while he conversed with his coworkers or even mingling with the police made things so much more thrilling. Such a friendly, trustworthy guy, no one knew he had such a morbid photo on his person. He would be lying to himself if he said he didn't fantasize about Autumn finding his wallet or perhaps walking into the room and seeing all those grizzly photos pinned to the wall... it was quite arousing. Alas, if Danny left his wallet lying around or that door unlocked and she got curious, he would have no choice but to kill her, and even though the fantasy was still there, he didn't want to lose her.
Now that Danny was out on the streets, he needed to push that fine little rabbit out of his mind and focus. His goal was to at least select a new victim to add to his list, but if it was possible to commit murder then that's exactly what he would do. The streets were busier than usual, even for a Saturday night, making it difficult to stalk anyone. It didn't take him long to realize that there was a drunken Halloween block party going on as the majority of the folks walking around were dressed up. To Danny's delight, there were quite a few Ghost Faces walking around. Some in the classic robe and others with a simple black jacket or hoodie. Perhaps no one would suspect a thing if he were to step out of the darkness and into the drunken bustle, it would make the night much more interesting.
Danny emerged from the dark alley nonchalantly with his camera in hand. Nothing strange about someone dressed up at a party taking photos of the sights. He was actually impressed by some of the costumes he seen. There was a young woman who caught his eye in particular, and it was mainly because she reminded him of his sleeping rabbit at home. Her hair was colored a darker purple than Autumn's, but her bangs were cut in a fringe and part of her hair was up in teddy bear buns. Danny got a little closer and took a photo from across the street. She was wearing a black, strapless leotard with purple fishnet stockings, and black stilettos. Danny guessed she was supposed to be a sexy cat because of the kitty ear headband and purple collar that adorned her neck. How... unoriginal. That got him thinking about what Autumn might dress up as; he imagined a very glittery pixie, he could even fabricate the costume for her. All the glitter and pastel tulle that danced around in Danny's head made him forget about why he was out in the first place, but he quickly snapped out of it. It was time to get as close as he possibly could to see if he could find out any details.
