Ollie and I began to pack when my mother came in.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"Um?"
Ollie and I looked at each other.
"Do you remember Maya?" I asked.
"Yeah?" My mom asked.
"Well, she wants me to come, and I would never go to Colorado alone."
"Colorado?"
"Yeah, she moved yesterday."
"Okay then."
"I'll keep her safe." Ollie pipped in.
"When are you leaving?" My mom asked.
"As soon as we are ready," I answered.
"Can we go?"
"Please."
"Fine, let me go get you some money." My mom announced, leaving the room.
After a few seconds of silence, Ollie looked at me and laughed.
"Didn't know you could lie like that?" Ollie mentioned.
"You don't know me that well," I responded.
We packed our two suitcases and were off.

After the group talked, I immediately got on the phone with Eva.
"Hey." She said.
"Hey, we need to talk. Can you come over? It's an emergency." I said.
Suddenly the doorbell rang. I headed downstairs and slowly opened the door to see Eva.
"Yeah, I was kinda already headed over here when you called." She explained.
"Cool," I said.
She came in and closed the door.
"So, what's up?" She asked.
"Do you want to go on a trip with me?" I asked.
"Of course."
"We need to leave tonight."
"Okay."
She pulled out her phone.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Texting my mom," She answered.
"Don't you need your clothes?"
"She is bringing me some."
"Cool, cool. How is she letting you go?"
"You are going."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"My mom says you're a good influence on me."
I began to laugh as we both headed to my room to pack.

My parents were okay with me leaving. I began to pack when I got a text from Zack.
<MicrosoftFanBoiii>Hey, we need to talk.
<WreckageEvan>Okay.
I began a call with him.
"Sup," I said.
"Are you going to the cabin?" He asked.
"Yep. packing now."
"Can I stay with you after we get back from the cabin?"
"Uh, sure...Are you okay?"
"Yeah...Sure...Not really."
"What's up?"
"Um...I need to come clean about something."
"Okay."
"Um... I'm gay."
"Yeah, no shit, sherlock."
"Really?"
"Yeah, bud, I've known since the first time I met you."
"Oh."
"You can stay here after the cabin."
"Okay, cool."
"See you there."
I hung up my phone and finished packing. I was soon off.

I got offline and headed to my grandparent's house. I knocked on their door. My grandparent's dog soon met me. My grandma soon opened the door.
"Hi, sweetie." She said.
"Hi grandma, can we talk?" I asked.
"Sure, sweetie."
She unlocked the door.
"I'm sorry I didn't call you."
"It's okay...so what's up?"
"Can I get the keys to the cabin?"
"Why?"
"I have a friend coming into town."
"Okay."
She handed me the key.
"Do you have anything from your parents?"
"Yeah, why?"
"I need stuff for my summer homework."
"Okay, follow me."
She got up and began to walk upstairs with me in toe. We went to the attic, and she started to pile boxes into my hands.
"Thanks, grandma," I said.
I headed to the stairs.
"I love you."
"I love you too, sweetie."
I left and put the boxes in the back of my car. Then, I went back to my house and began to pack.

I was impressed by how well Missy could lie. We said goodbye to our family and then got into my car, and we left.

After everything that happened, I needed to leave. After the call, I began to pack everything into a backpack. Then, I proceeded to take out a notebook paper. 
"Hey, Mom and Dad,"
I began to write.
"I need to figure myself out. I love you. I don't know when I will be back. So please don't look for me.

Zack."
I grabbed my keys and left.
