Mia's POV

I almost choked.

Was Ethan high?

I felt my face redden as hundreds of heads turned to face me.

Wow, this was so not happening.

Surprisingly, I wasn't in the mood to deal with possessive fangirls and an idiot named Ethan. I had to get out of here.

So I did what I do best, I turned on my heel and ran away from Ethan.

And it kinda broke my heart.

But what was new, I was having my heart broken like every day.

Jeez, was Ethan really worth all this?

I wasn't really thinking as I ran, and found myself completely and utterly lost.

And just my luck, it had started to rain.

Okay, I had to protect my camera. That was definitely top priority.

I found some sorta bike shed thing to keep me sheltered from the rain, and it was beginning to pour down harder.

Man, I had to invest in a waterproof camera, I could get some awesome shots of the rain.

Oh well, but damn, I was probably gonna be stuck here for a while- at least until the storm cleared up.

I was already bored.

Hesitantly, I put my camera down on the floor, ensuring there was no way it would fall or get wet, and headed out to the rain.

I don't know why, but I loved the feeling of the rain on my skin, and I didn't care about drenching my clothes.

I was probably going to catch a cold or something but yolo and all that.

It was great to get my mind off of Ethan, I had to say.

So imagine my surprise when I hear someone calling my name.

Yeah, you guessed it, I thought it was some sorta serial killer and nearly peed my pants.

"Uh no? Who's Mia? I'm Jeremy-no wait! I'm Arnold!" I shakily shouted, scared out of my wits and apparently losing my mind.

"Mia! I can literally hear your voice. Are you aware that both Jeremy and Arnold are dude's names? Because my advice would be that if you think someone's trying to kill you, maybe run away instead of trying to convince them that your name is Jeremy." I heard a certain someone chuckle as he emerged from some trees, looking seriously good as the rain had forced his shirt to cling to his muscled body.

I tried to look away.

It didn't go well.

"Mia! Stop staring at my body! Don't objectify a man!" He shrieked jokingly.

I didn't want to look him in the eyes though.

"Shh, I'm enjoying the view.." I muttered as the rain hammered around us.

"Jeez woman, stop staring at my body and look at me!" He whined.

"Technically, staring at your body is looking at you so I'm just gonna keep it up!" I replied cockily. I have no idea where the sudden confidence came from, but I quite liked it, it made me feel somewhat strong.

"Wait Mia, are you crazy? You're out here in shorts and a tshirt! You're going to freeze to death!" He suddenly realised.

"I don't care!" I sang, suddenly looking up at the sky and letting the rain pour down on to my face.
