Ethan's POV

"Nope." Sydney pouted. "You're not going." She clung on to Ryan like her life depended on it.

"Sydders, babe I'm gonna miss my flight." Ryan sighed.

"That's not so bad.." She reasoned.

Ryan chuckled, "I don't wanna go home either.." He groaned, "but you know I have to.."

"I love you.." She whispered to him, looking deep into his eyes.

I didn't need to see it to know how much of a strong connection they had. It was all in their eyes, their movements. They'd become a pair, and I knew they'd only ever have eyes for each other.

We were back home, standing outside Ryan's cab to the airport, trying to pry Sydney off of him, and luckily, we managed to get Sydney to acquiesce.

Knowing Sydney and Ryan, we'd probably have to leave, or unfortunately risk watching a scarring and intense make out session.

And just like that, they were in each other's arms, fiercely making out.

I couldn't help but smile as we subtly turned around to give the two of them a little privacy in their last moments together for the summer. My arms were around Mia as we sort of awkwardly giggled along with everyone else.

"Is it weird that I'm gonna miss their whole PDA thing??" Grayson muttered, making us all chuckle.

"Yes babe, that is kinda weird.." Rachel giggled.

"Shut up." He grinned, leaning down to kiss her.

"OKAY PEOPLE JUST BECAUSE RYAN'S GOING DOESN'T MEAN WE HAVE TO REPLACE ALL THE PDA WITH YOU GUYS!!" Mia squealed adorably. I chuckled, burying my face into her hair as I sat down and pulled her into my lap. I grinned. It felt so amazing to just be with Mia. She lifted me up. It sounds dumb but she makes the world a better place with her hot temper and fiery determination. As I sat there with her in my arms, I couldn't stop myself from staring at her in adoration.

Everyone just turned to look at us, snapping me out of my Mia centred daze.

"Says the girl who gave my brother a hickey.." Grayson teased, making Mia blush insanely.

"Shut up." She growled at him, glaring.

"Well guys, I think it's time for me to head to the airport too- I've gotta catch my flight back to London." Josh sighed.

It kinda sucked to have to see everyone go back home, I guess it was just like this annoying reminder that our summer was nearly over, and I know it hadn't been the smoothest ride ever, but I wouldn't have changed it for the world.

Heartbreak, lies, an insane amount of idiocy, a psychobitch and a big mess later, I was exactly where I wanted to be. I was with my best friends and I was happy.

"Guys, I gotta go!" Ryan hollered over to us, holding his girlfriend in his arms for the last time in a while.

"Bye, bro! I'm gonna miss you!" I told him as we did our typical guy-hug thing.
