Chapter 42

Mia's POV

"This summer has been...perfect." I muttered as I lay back Ethan's arms. "I mean, it's been completely and utterly crazy, but I wouldn't have had it any other way." I smiled.

"You can say that again." Ethan chuckled quietly, slowly kissing my cheek.

Guess where we were.

Chile.

Weird, huh?

Even weirder- we were here to ski.

Yup, they had snow in the summer here.

Crazy, I know.

We were in this adorable little cabin right next to the slopes and the view was stunning- snow capped mountains glittering in the bright sunlight and littered with pine trees.

The cabin was incredible.

The hall was huge, archaic staircases swirling down each side to the checked marble floor. There was a dimly lit chandelier, but it was building up the cobwebs. There were a few chaise-longs and some chairs but otherwise the main hall was bare of furniture.

We were all relaxing, recovering from a long flight in front of a blazing log fire.

The room was glowing in the light from the flames, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement and anticipation.

Oh yeah, and not to forget, there was a hot tub.

Sitting in front of the fire, we reminisced about our summer.

"I can't believe the summer's nearly over." Gray muttered poignantly.

"Neither can I.." I sighed, staring into the flickering flames of the fire.

"Remember when the girls dressed up all hot as heck because they thought we were gonna meet Channing Tatum..." Ethan chuckled.

"YOU KNOW IT. I'VE DONE IT BEFORE AND I'D DO IT AGAIN!!" Sydney shouted, making us all burst into fits of laughter.

"Oh god, remember that dumb bitch Arielle!" Rach exclaimed.

"Oh, Daddy said he'd buy me this. Daddy said he'd buy me that!" Grayson imitated Arielle in an excessively, almost scarily accurate high pitched voice.

"I did not like her one bit." I stated, blushing when Ethan turned to face me. "What? She was all over you!" I explained, blushing fiercely.

"You liked me back then?" He asked.
