Mia's POV

Sigh.

School.

I hated it with a passion. Early mornings, irritating people, having to work all day. I didn't know how people could stand it.

"MIA!!" Rachel shrieked, barging through my front door and bounding up the stairs.

"We're going to be late!"

"For the last time, Rachel, I don't give two craps whether we're on time or not. Anyways, we're ALWAYS late so it'd be weird if we weren't!" I grumbled, wrestling my hair into some sort of bun on the top of my head.

"Let's go!!" She said, grabbing my school bag and my arm and pulling me down the stairs.

"Dude!" I complained, my hands still tangled in my hair from my attempt to tie my hair up.

"Don't 'dude' me! We're leaving now!" She demanded, stopping only to help me battle the wild mess that was my hair.

"The boys are waiting for us! We can't be late!" She complained again.

"The boys? You mean Dylan and Jacob? Please say you mean Dylan and Jacob." I said, looking up at Rachel with my puppy dog eyes.

"You're in no such luck! It's the twins. So stop complaining and let's go." She said, grabbing my arm and dragging me outside.

"Ew, nooo. The sunlighttt. IT BUUURNS!!" I squealed dramatically.

We made our way to the twins' house, bickering along the way.

"Dude. They don't even go to our school." I said, coming to the realisation and questioning what we were doing.

"Well, young Mia dearest, they do now." She said, giggling, and running up to the twins' door, ringing the doorbell about six times.

"I think that's enough, Rach-" I laughed, just as the twins came out of their house.

"Top of the mornin' to ya, ladies," Grayson said, in an Irish accent for no apparent reason, making us laugh.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go to school!" Grayson said excitedly. He was clearly anticipating starting school here again.

Little did he know about how crazy it really was.

Lunch Period

Grayson's POV

"RACHEL!!" I shouted, trying to escape the rush of the crowds and the large group of girls who had been following me around for the majority of the day.

She turned around, with a confused look on her face, but when she spotted me, realisation seemed to dawn on her

She hurried over to me and led me over to her lunch table, where Mia, Ethan, Sydney, Dylan, Skye and Jacob were sitting, along with a bunch of other people who I didn't recognise.

I nodded a quick greeting to the people at the table, getting a squeal in reply from Sydney, and I saw Skye elbow her, which made me chuckle to myself.

"Hey, Eth- is it just me or have you been followed by a massive group of girls all day too?" I asked, a little worried.

"Yup," he said, looking up from his food. I wasn't sure of his situation with Mia because they were sitting next to each other, but didn't seem to be talking.

"Those girls are freaking crazy!" Mia spoke up.

"Some girl from my biology class started attempting to pull out my hair just because I knew you guys.." She continued.
