Chapter 13

Ryan's POV

"That was pretty fun.." Sydney said, resting her head on my shoulder, as we had our hands clasped together, walking down the beach, carrying our shoes.

"You're a little babyyy!!" I mocked, teasing her as she giggled.

She had got pretty into some of the games on the pier, but calmed down as we reached the end, and watched out at the sea together.

Rachel's POV

"YOU'LL NEVER CATCH ME!!" I screeched, grabbing Grayson's phone and running off into the sand.

"YES I WILL!!" He chuckled, running behind me.

"I'm going to make a vine because I'm a high profile viney viner!!" I shouted, giggling, impersonating his voice.

"Hey!" He shouted behind me, catching up as we both ran along the beach, giggling.

He caught up to me, grabbing me from behind and snatching the phone from my hands, chuckling as I giggled.

Suddenly, we both became silent, incredibly aware of our close proximity.

My heart was beating so fast, so loud that I'm pretty sure Grayson could hear it.

I could feel his breath against my neck and I couldn't deny that his arms around me felt so good.

"Grayson.." I whispered.

"Yeah?" He whispered back.

"SUCKS FOR YOU!!" I shouted, grabbing his phone back and running even faster along the beach, leaving a bewildered Grayson standing in the sand.

Ethan's POV

"Well I guess it's just us.." I mumbled to Mia, as we walked down the path along Santa Monica beach.

Everyone else had gone off to various places, leaving the two of us alone.

I guess I wasn't so hung up over Mia, now that Arielle was around.

Arielle was pretty cool, I'd met her at camp a couple of years back and we'd really hit it off and she was a really awesome chick.

"So.." Mia interrupted my thoughts, swinging her arms back and forth, enjoying the sun.

She seemed so blissful, so happy, clutching her camera in her hand, as if it was a part of her, and I loved how artistic she was.

The way the sun shined off her hair, how her gorgeous brown eyes sparkled with excitement, fascinated as we approached Venice Beach, which was bursting with diversity and the atmosphere was buzzing.

I tore my eyes away from her, remembering that I was supposedly 'not hung up over her anymore' and seeing our amazing surroundings.

The smell of food filled the air, and the sound of music, singers, dancers, filled my ears and my sight.

This was truly amazing.

I looked over to Mia, who was taking snaps of the whole area.

God, she looked so cute.

Damn! I had to stop with this.

"Here. Hold this." She said, giving me her camera and running off to a group of dancers who were gesturing for her to come over.

They were cheering as she danced along with them, totally vibing off their excitement, passion and the atmosphere.

I couldn't help but fall even deeper for her. She looked truly happy, and that warmed my heart.

I realised I had her camera in my hands, and quickly lifted it to take a few shots of her, quite impressed by the quality of the photos.

She came running back to me, with a huge grin on her face, grabbing my arms.

"Hey, can you hold my camera?" She asked one of the dancers she'd been hanging around with.

"Sure thing, cutie.." He said with a wink, and a whole lot of anger rose up inside of me, but I quickly brushed it off, as Mia pulled me over to a small skate park.

"I know you love to skateboard.. Well at least I hope you still do.." She said with a smile.

And I literally couldn't take it anymore, I don't care how much I sounded like a girl, but she literally had me wrapped around her little finger.

"Well then, let's board!" I said, with a grin.
