Chapter 35

Grayson's POV

"Hey guys!" Josh called out, jogging to reach the couches that Skye, Sydney, Rach, Ryan and I were lounging on in the hotel lobby.

"Whattup Josh!" Skye said, grinning as he took a seat next to her.

"I have some news and I'm pretty sure you guys are gonna be really quite happy about it." He smiled.

Everyone sat forward in their seats, looking at him with eager, curious eyes.

"Wel-" He began, but was cut off by his phone ringing.

"Sorry guys, hang on, I'll be right back!" He said, taking the call.

"Okay who wants to make a bet? $20 on what the British dude is gonna tell us." I said, smirking as I wrapped my arm around Rachel's waist, kissing her on the cheek, making her blush, which I loved.

"I say he's gonna tell us he's deeply in love with Skye!!" Sydney teased, wiggling her eyebrows, making Skye blush.

"I don't know..maybe he's gone and punched Ethan in the face for being such an idiot?" Skye pondered.

"Maybe his dumb cousin The Hoe aka Caitlin has been stung by a jellyfish and is now stranded on a desert island. Now that would be some good news." Rachel beamed.

"I bet he finally got that shipment of British tea he keeps going on about!" I suggested, laughing.

We were all in fits of laughter courtesy of our immature jokes when Josh returned.

"So dude, what's the news?" Ryan asked, as we all leaned forward eagerly, probably creeping the poor guy out.

"Well, after Caitlin messed everything up for Mia and Ethan last night, I'd had enough. My cousin is bloody crazy ad there's no way to stop her! So I decided to do the same thing that I used to do when we were kids. I called her mum." We were all leaning so far forward in anticipation that I'm surprised we didn't fall off of our seats.

"So I told her mum everything, and how much of a pain in the arse Caitlin was being. I suggested they check her into a psychiatric ward but apparently that costs money and stuff in America and that apparently she wasn't that crazy. Her mum said she'd call me when they'd decided what to do with her. That call I got just now, yeah, that was Caitlin's mum. Apparently the American solution to having an out of control psychobitch for a kid is sending them off to military school." He finished.

My mouth dropped open.

"Wait what?" Rachel squealed.

"You heard me," Josh said. "Caitlin's leaving for military school."

"OH MY GOD THANK THE HEAVENS!!" Sydney shouted, dropping to her knees overdramatically.

Happiness couldn't even begin to describe how we were feeling. Finally Caitlin would be out of our lives.

"When is she going?" Ryan asked.

"This evening. She's packing her stuff right now." Josh replied, grinning.

We were all smiling so much that our faces hurt.

"Wow, Mia is going to be freaking ecstatic when she finds out!!" I realised, chuckling.

"And so will Ethan!" Rachel commented.

Everyone kinda went silent.

We weren't exactly happy with Ethan.

"Wait guys, what's wrong? Did you not talk to Ethan after last night?" Josh asked.

We all shook our heads.
