The avengers all exited the factory after Tony and Bruce worked on dismantling the weapon and the others took all the files to the quinjet.
Since there was still a good amount of time before Tony and Bruce would be finished dismantling the device, Steve and Bucky decided to go check up on the hill where the sniper shot from.
"If this is some crazy girl and she kills me, it's on you buck." Steve said as they got to the spot where the girl once stood, looking around for anything that could help them.
Whoever this girl was, she definitely didn't want to be found. She hadn't left a single trace of her presence on the hill. "Anything?" Bucky asked Steve, his back turned to him as they both looked.
"Buck." Steve said, lifting up what looked like a silver chain. "Dog tags."
Bucky quickly went over to Steve, looking at the dog tags. "Is there a name?" He asked, trying to get a better look.
Steve shook his head, flipping the tags over. "They're scratched off." He said, "all that it has is nice try carved on."
"Of course it does." Bucky said, taking the tags and sticking them in his pocket. "Let's go, it looks like they're waiting."

Fury looked rather disappointed when the avengers returned form their mission. His arms were crossed and he stood in the center of the meeting room. "Why the hell is agent Waltz dead?" He asked, "that wasn't part of the mission."
Natasha sat down in the same seat she was in earlier, looking up to fury. "We didn't kill him." She said, "someone shot him from the outside, then got away before we could even think to follow."
"And?" Fury asked, "did you get any information on the person or did you just forget about it and move on?"
Bucky pulled the dog tags out and set them on the table, looking up at fury. "She ran off before we could even blink, but she dropped these."
Fury stared down to the dog tags, trying to figure out what they meant. "Nice try? What is this, a joke?" He asked no one in particular. "Agent hill, come take these to get examined. Try to figure out what it means."
Maria hill nodded and took the dog tags in a plastic baggie and left.
"What else could she possibly mean by nice try?" Natasha asked.
Tony shrugged his shoulders and shook his head. "I don't know, but whoever this mystery girl is.. she has a plan." He said, "does anyone know of any girl who could possibly want the files?"
Bucky gave Steve a look, wanting to put out the idea that Sandra was alive. But Steve shook his head no. He didn't want to build up hope that his sister was alive.
After no one responded to the question, Fury sent everyone off to do their own thing and relax while he went with Maria Hill back to shield.
Tony went off into his lab, and began to do some research on Sandra and her work, even though his father would never shut up about how good of a person she was. Howard looked up to Sandra, even though she was younger than him.
While he was searching through the web and all different articles, Tony found one that contained everything about her disappearance. Even her personal file was on the site.
So, Tony clicked onto it and read every single thing, hoping for any clue to the mystery girl.
This evening at around 7:30pm, November 15th 1945, it has been reported that former World War Two Weapon manufacturer and Scientist Sandra Rogers has gone missing. After a thorough investigation of her Brooklyn apartment, sources found the blueprints of what would've been the next big weapon of war, a long with an empty injection of a serum she had been working on.
Investigators asked Sandra's close friends, Howard Stark and Peggy Carter if they knew anything of this serum and where she would've gone. According to Howard, "Sandra wouldn't just go missing without there being a reason, she's smart and she probably has a plan to return soon". Howard also mentioned how Both him and Sandra were working on a serum in attempt to recreate the super soldier serum created by doctor Abraham Erskine.
Due to the large investigation around Sandra's name, it was discovered that her at the time boyfriend, Brandon Shepard, was an agent of hydra. This sparked a controversy between the government and Sandra's work, leaving them to believe she was working with hydra the entire time. But, good friend Peggy Carter had something to say about this.
"You are all delusional if you think Sandra Rogers, sister to Steve Rogers, Captain America, would do something like this. She is a very good friend of mine and would never hurt a fly unless she had a reason to. Finding out who Brandon actually was could mean a lot of things. Sandra could've been stuck with him, being threatened or hurt any time she tried to leave. Or, she could've had no idea about it like everyone else. Your all fools for believing she would try to harm her country. Nice try, she would always say to someone who would try to prove her wrong or attempt to steal something of hers, which was more often then someone would ever wish. And whatever she injected into herself, she probably did it so no one would get their hands on it."Tony stared at the screen, shocked as he found out more about his Fathers friend. The only thing he could think to do was print the article and bring the copy to the only other people who could work off of it.
"Look at this." Tony said, placing the few pages in front of both Bucky and Steve.
Steve's eyes landed in the article title, Sandra Rogers: The Investigation, and he sighed. "Not you too Tony." He said, "it's not possible that it's her."
Tony shook his head and pointed to the last paragraph of the article. "See, right there." He said, "Peggy said that Sandra started saying nice try to people who failed at stealing from her or tried to prove her wrong."
Bucky looked up in shocked. "So wait, are we agreeing on something right now?" He asked.
"Don't get used to it." Tony said, "now tell me Rogers, where else have we seen the words nice try? Oh right, on those dog tags."
Steve groaned, becoming tired of the theories about his little sister. "Can you guys stop saying she's alive?!" He said, his voice being louder than before.
Tony's voice raised too as he began to speak. "Why don't you want to find her?!" He asked.
"Because if we find her and she's alive, who's fault is it that she's been on her own all these years. I mean, I've been back and out of the ice for a few years now and not once did I ever go out to find her. I had hope at first, but my hope died as soon as I heard what happened." Steve said, "I went in the ice knowing she thought hydra was over with. I mean, that's my little sister and if that girl out there was her, she probably thinks I abandoned her."
The three stood quiet for a moment, processing Steve's words. "Look, cap, the serum that she took before leaving was a new dosage of the super soldier serum. My dad always spoke about it, saying that since she took the whole thing she could still be alive and the same as she was back then." Tony said, "my dad never lost hope that he'd find her."
"And I don't want to lose hope if we do find that girl and it's not her." Steve said, walking out of the room and towards the meeting room. "But, we still have to find that girl because she interfered with our mission."
