"Holy shit." Sandra groaned the next morning, her legs being in complete pain. "Buck I think we got too carried away." She whispered.

Bucky smiled as his arms were around her. "Well, Sandy, you kept telling me to go faster." He teased, rolling her so she was sitting on his chest. "-And you seemed to enjoy it."

Sandra sighed and laid down on top of Bucky. "Your always going to be a pain in my ass, Barnes." She said, relaxing herself against him and shutting her eyes.

A smirk formed on Bucky's face as he adjusted how he held her, lifting Sandra up bridal style to the kitchen. "I let you sleep in late enough, we have to get some food in you." He said, sitting her down on the counter.

"Fine but since you made me not be able to walk, your making the food." Sandra said with a smirk on her face, leaning over and kissing Bucky's cheek.

"That's fair."

This break Tony had suggested for the avengers was going on for longer than anyone expected. Sure, Sandra had only been with them for about two or three months, but she missed the chaos that would come with being in the compound.

Steve would come by often to check in, making sure that everything was going ok and no one was missing. He had been staying in Washington in his little apartment for a bit, but then went back to the compound to be with Natasha.

She wasn't there as often as Steve would've thought she would be, the red head spending a majority of her time searching for her old family and bringing an end to the red room.

Of course Steve offered to help her since he had nothing better to do, but Natasha refused any help. She said it was a personal thing for her and she wanted to do it by herself.

As for Sandra and Bucky, things have been very calm. No one was out to kill them, they had a beautiful house, and they had each other.

Their only deal breaker was going out in public. Grocery shopping especially was a hassle. People would try to stop Sandra and create conversation with her as she would be in the bread isle reaching for her white bread.

It took both Sandra and Bucky to get through a grocery store without being bothered. The only exception Sandra had when it came to people coming up to her were the little kids. She always loved children, and seeing them heartbroken over her saying no made her upset.

"Good afternoon Miss Rogers and Mr Barnes." Friday said as the two stood in front of the front entrance of the compound. They decided that it was their turn to go visit Steve and Natasha.

Sandra smiled at the security camera. "Hey Friday." She said, hearing the door unlock. "Are either of them here?"

"It appears Miss Romanoff is still off on her side mission, but mr Rogers should be inside." Friday said as the two walked inside.

"Steven!" Sandra called out as her and Bucky stepped out of the elevator to the living floor, not knowing where her brother could be.

Steve walked into the room a few seconds later, looking like he had just woken up. "What are you guys doing here?" He asked as he rubbed his sleepy eyes. "Your never awake this early."

Bucky shrugged his shoulders and walked over to the kitchen. "I woke her up so we could try and get some things done around the house but then we decided to just come here." The brunette said, taking a drink of water that he took from the fridge. "Oh and I needed to talk to you, just couldn't leave her home alone."

Bucky gave Steve a look, meaning it was something that he didn't want Sandra to know about, knowing that Steve would want him to say it right then and there.

"Yeah, uh, sure. Nat should be back soon I think." Steve said, pointing to the elevator that had just made a ding sound. "Speak of the devil."

Natasha came walking out of the elevator, a smirk on her face as she glared at Steve. "This devil just figured out how to shut down the red room." She said, spotting Sandra and Bucky in the room. "What are you two doing here?"

Sandra shrugged. "Buck needed to talk to Steve and dragged me along, but he won't tell me what he needs Steve for." She said, crossing her arms. "You doing anything else today?"

Natasha looked at the time and shook her head. "Nope, my schedules free."

"Great, we are going out while these two talk about whatever it is they need to." Sandra said with a smile.

A smile formed on Natasha's face as well, finally being able to go out and enjoy herself after her tiring mission. "Let's do it." She said, "you boys better not break anything. And I swear, if I come back and Wilson is here again, I'm going to lose it."

"Sam's been here since Tony's evacuation plan?" Sandra laughed, both her and Natasha walking towards the elevator.

Natasha nodded and groaned. "Steve got bored and invited him to come over, then they ate all the food, then said they needed to workout so they didn't gain the weight."

Sandra sighed, patting Natasha's back. "I would lose it too." She laughed, "but if Steve ever pulls some shit like that again, tell him you'll post a picture of skinny Steve. He hates it."

"Note taken."
