The next few minutes were full of adrenaline for the avengers. The body guards that Gary brought with him were tough, and extremely strong. But that didn't stop Sandra from giving this her all.

"Someone make sure they don't grab her and run!" Steve shouted as him and Tony worked to fight one of the guards.

Even though Sandra was completely in her pajamas, she was doing well. The guard trying to get her was one of the bigger ones, which one would assume to be the hardest to get. But, this was light work for Sandra.

Knocking the guard to the ground and on his back, Sandra stomped her foot on his chest. "You know I'm a killer too, but it takes two to Tango." She said, taking his gun. "You don't want to dance with me."

"Hey hey, whoa." Steve said, spotting his sisters stance as she held her target. "Sandy don't-"

Sandra sighed. "Don't shoot? Because I know if I don't, they'll be back." She said, turning to look at Steve.

While her back was turned, the guard jumped up and knocked Sandra to the ground. He made sure to do exactly what she did to him. "Ain't no one comin' back for you if your dead." He said, ignoring the others around him.

Instead of Sandra having to take in her last moments alive, the glass of the kitchen window shattered and a bullet went right through the guards chest.

Bucky knelt down and pulled Sandra away from the guard and lifted her back onto her feet. "You ok?" He asked.

Sandra nodded, pointing to her chest. "C-can't breathe." She choked out, trying her best to breathe.

Tony ran and got her inhaler she kept next to her bed, handing to her immediately. After using it, Sandra started to breathe better.

"God that hasn't happened since my first week on the run." She said, taking steadier breaths. "But who's our sniper savior this time?"

The elevator doors opened and a tall man came walking out with a woman, Sandra immediately raising her gun at them.

Steve grabbed her arm and pushed it down, shaking his head. "Fury. Agent Hill." He nodded.

The man stood tall and serious, looking at Sandra with his singular eye. "After saving yo ass, you owe me a favor." He said, pointing to Sandra. "Words gotten around that your back, meaning we have an angry government. I won't be long, but we need to talk."

Sandra raised her eyebrow, standing up and looking the man up and down. "Alright patchy, but I don't know you or who your working for." She said.

Fury groaned, looking behind Sandra. "Are we sure she isn't a stark. She's got the mouth of one." He complained. "Cap hasn't spoken back to me yet, but little sister ain't scared."

Sandra smirked. "Steve and I are not alike, almost total opposites." She said, crossing her arms. "Now If you want to talk to me, fine. But I'm not safe if I leave here, so we are keeping the meeting here."

Fury nodded, allowing Sandra to lead the way to the meeting room. The others watched the two walk away, surprised that fury didn't kill her.

"What just happened..?" Tony asked, "I called him patchy once and he tried to shoot me."

Natasha nodded, looking at Tony. "You were also in protective iron man suits if I remember correctly." She added, crossing her arms. "Is fury a fan girl of caps sister?" She joked.

Maria laughed. "You could say that. She's the master at going off grid, he wants to know her ways." She said, looking down the hallway where they went, then back to the avengers. "So, who's the guy I shot?" She pointed to the body.

Clint shrugged. "Some hydra guy, came with his boss and their buddies." He said, pointing to the others laying unconscious on the ground. "Their chopper is outside, we didn't even get an alert."

Maria looked at the man, nodding her head. "Well his tag says Gary, but he's actually supposed to be with shield." She said, pulling up his file on her tablet. "His actual name is Martin Aster."

"Wait." Steve said, standing straight. "That means someone compromised shield again."

Maria shook her head. "Unfortunately, that's not what happened. Agents go rouge like this out of no where pretty often." She said, "I'll get these guys cleaned up and out of here for you, but I think we should go make sure Miss Rogers hasn't killed Fury yet or the other way around."

- - -

"Miss Rogers I must admit, you've got skill." Fury said, sitting across from Sandra. "But for being a missing person for over fifty years, you don't look a day over thirty."

Sandra groaned and crossed her arms. "Ok patchy, what do you want from me. Just get to the point." She said. "Or I'll die of boredom in here."

Fury sighed and kept a stern look at Sandra. "Fine. I need to know everything that's happened since you've went missing." He said. "Believe it or not, I've got agents begging me to work on your case. They claim to know everything, which is hard to believe considering they weren't even born when this all began."

"I have boundaries when it comes to my personal life." Sandra said, checking her nails. "And when I say boundaries, I mean no one finds out unless I trust them."

Fury nodded. "And who is it that you trust?"

"In your dreams, patchy." She laughed. "If I told you, I know exactly what you'd do."

Both Fury and Sandra were staring each other down, both waiting for the other to speak.

"Ok I've lost patience." Fury said, standing from his seat and crossing his arms. "Answer me this. Why'd you go missing in the first place?"

Sandra watched fury for a second, seeing he had a weapon on him. This also meant if she pissed him off just enough, he wouldn't hesitate to take it out. "Well, your familiar with the name Brandon Shepard... right?" She asked, seeing fury nod his head. "During my time with him, he'd drug me and mess with my head. At one point he managed to memory wipe me and force me into hydra."

Fury held up his hand stopping her. "I'm sorry, hydra? Do you know-"

"Yes I know! Once I was free from his trance, I re-dedicated my life's work to taking them down myself since the SSR and shields operation was too slow for me." Sandra said, her volume raising as she spoke. "Wait a minute, you just outsmarted me-"

Fury smirked and nodded his head. "Yes, I did. I'm good at my job Miss Rogers." He said. "What operations did Shepard have you doing?"

Sandra frowned. "I don't remember... that whole thing was a blur, like it almost never happened." She said, leaning back in her chair and running a hand through her hair. "I told you, I was drugged. I don't know what he used on me, but I shut him down the second I figured it out."

"Shut him down?" Fury asked.

Sandra nodded. "Exactly. I planned out the entire day that I went missing. I knew he was going on a trip, but I knew with the perfect timing, he'd get caught." She said. "When I escaped, I left with the same bag I carry around today, my blueprint checklist, and my extra serum."

"Ok, I've got everything I need." Fury said, turning and walking to the door to leave.

"Hold on a minute, what happens now?" Sandra asked. "I mean, I'm not going to jail whether you like it or not."

Fury groaned and opened the door. "With your escapes, no jail could hold you." He said, "I'll consider my options and you'll stay away from the press. Are we clear miss Rogers?"

Sandra nodded. "Alright patchy. I assume I'll be seeing more of you around here?"

"Unfortunately."
