Chapter 17

I got inside the car first, then turned on the engine. I drive backward then stopped.

I look at Jennie, but she's still talking to Seulgi. It seems like the world gets smaller this time. I didn't know they knew each other, but I don't care anyway.

Pansin ko lang na halos magkakilala lahat nang nakikilala ko dito.

Ilang minuto lang papunta na si Jennie sa sasakyan. Kita ko rin si Seulgi na kumaway sa direksyon ko. I then pressed the car's horn as a respond before she went towards her car too.

Jennie opened the front seat door, then hopped inside. She placed the food in the backseat then buckled her seatbelt.

"Lets buy something for Chu?" I asked then drive.

"You think chicken is good for her? She really likes chicken more than any food." She said. Now I know.

"I think she's more on healthy foods now. Let's just buy fruits for her." I told her, she then nodded.

I noticed her get her phone, then not a minute  I heard a ringing sound.

She's calling someone, and so I just focused on driving.

"Hi mom. How are you there?" I heard her said.

"I'm good. We'll visit Chu today." She said.
Di ko kasi marinig kung anong sinasabi nang mommy niya. Di rin naman pwedeng di ko marinig kasi may tenga naman ako.

"Ahh. She's one of Chaeng's friend mom." She said. Are they talking about me?

"Yes. She's nice. She also knew Chu. Its like the four of us are meant to know each other." She said then chuckle.

"I will mom."

"Wait, why? Its been a year already." I took a glance at her. Mukha kasing nag iba yung tono nang boses niya.

"Ahh! I hate him. After he cheated? There's no way I'll date him again." She madly said.

"Okay mom. Thanks. See you soon."

She ended the call, but she still looked so annoyed.

She's cute when she's not in the mood.

"What's wrong?" I can't stop from asking. She then look at me.

"Nothing. Its just my ex boyfriend. He went in our house in New Zealand." Ow? I see. Why would I even thought she's still innocent with that relationship thingy.

"What's wrong with that?"

Now, she's rolling her eyes.

"I just don't want him there. Akala niya siguro nandun pa ako. Baka naman kasi iniwan na siya nang babae niya kaya bumalik." She said.

"Uhm, can I ask you something, Jen?" She look at me.

"How many ex boyfriends you already had?" I asked then took a glance at her.

"Two. I was second year college when I met my first ex boyfriend. He's from here. Baka nga nandito lang siya eh. Then the second one, I met in New Zealand 2 years ago."

I just nodded.

"Why you broke up with them? Or they broke up with you?" I asked. She just chuckle.

"I...broke up with them, of course. Well, the first one I broke up with him that time we met for the first time. We actually had relationship thru media, but then he wants to see me in personal. He took me one of the finest hotel here in Seoul. I expected that we'll just talk, cuddles, but he wants me to make out with him. I'm still not ready that time, and so I rejected him, but he ended harrassing me." I was just driving while listening to her.
