(3 months later)

"Ms. M? Ms. Mina is on the phone." Lia said, I just smile then nodded.

I went to the office, then answered the phone.

(Phone call)

ME: Hello, Mina.
MINA: Hi, Lis. Jackson needs more materials for the second floor. He messaged you. Di karaw nag rereply.
ME: Oh, ahm.. I'm sorry for that. I left my phone at home kakamadali ko kanina. Can I talk to him, please?
MINA: Yes, sure. Jack?! Ms. M wants to talk to you.
JACKSON: Hello, Ms. M? I texted you the needs materials. Nakulangan kasi kami kanina eh.
ME: Okay. No problem. Tell me the need materials so I can contact the supplier now. I left my phone at home.
JACKSON: Yes, Ms. (Telling me all the needs)
ME: Is that all?
JACKSON: Yes, Ms. That's all.
ME: Okay. I'll message you after. Uhm, do you want some food there?
JACKSON: Ahh, uhm...
ME: (chuckle) Nahihiya ka nanaman ba kay Mina, Jack?
JACKSON: uhm, medyo Ms. M. Saka hinintay ka namin talaga kasi ikaw lang naman nagpapakain samin nang marami.
ME: Ayun! You can ask Mina for it, kasi karapatan niyo yun. Anyways, don't worry I'll order food for you, k? Keep everyone safe, Jackson.
JACKSON: Yayks! Yes, Ms. M. Thank you so much!!
ME: Okay. Can I talk to Mina?
JACKSON: Yes, Ms.
MINA: Pinagsasabi mo nanaman sa kanya ha?
ME: (laugh) Come on. You look good together, Mina. Don't deny.
MINA: Yah! Stop it! Psh.
ME: Okay, okay. I'll stop. Have to go now, I'll message you after the supplier responded.
MINA: Okay. Thank you! Bye.

She ended the call. Damn. Andami ko pang kailangan i check, cellphone ko pa talaga yung naiwan eh.

"Hi." I look at the door, and saw her.

"Baby? Hi. Why are you here?" I stood, then walk towards her.

She peck in my lips, I kiss her tummy.

"You left this, so I decided to go here. Is it okay with you?" She asked, handing me the phone.

I chuckle.

"Ahh, thank you hon. Sobrang kailangan ko to ngayon eh. Upo ka muna, may tatawagan na muna ako. Hm? Saka gawa kita nang tea." Sabi ko at pinaupo muna siya nang maayos.

Di na kasi siya nakakalakad nang maayos eh. Sobrang malaki na yung tiyan niya, saka 2 months nalang manganganak na siya.

I went in the small kitchen, then call someone on the phone while making her a cup of tea.

(Phone call)

ME: Goodmorning, this is--
...: Lalisa Manoban. Yes.
ME: (chuckle) My apology, Sir.
...: You're being you, Lisa. No need to apologize. What materials do you need anyway?
ME: Thank you, Sir. Ahm, Yes. We run out of (tell him the materials)
...: Ok. The same site?
ME: Yes, Sir.
...: Sure. Ok, ah... 10,043 won.
ME: Alright, Sir. I'll send it to your account.
...: Thank you, Lisa. Thanks for trusting our shop! We'll deliver this right away.
ME: You never disappointed my workers, Sir.
...: Of course. Thank you.
ME: You're welcome, Sir. Have a good day!
...: You too, Lisa.

The call ended.

"Baby?" I widen my eyes then turn around.
Jennie's in my back already.

"Ohw, sorry hon." I said then kiss her head. I get the cup of tea then guided her back in the couch.

I look at the clock and its almost lunch.

"Lets order food for lunch? Or you want to eat outside?" I asked her.

She smile.

"Can we eat outside?" She asked. I then smile and nodded.

"Okay. Let's eat outside. Hm, I'll message Mina first, K? I'll order food for them to."  I said, di na siya sumagot. Instead, she bore her face in my chest while hugging me.
