Coming out of our compartment, I noticed that all the doors to other cabins were open, and they were suspiciously silent. As I walked along the train, I saw a pattern of corpses motionlessly laying around, and as I moved further, it was the same image - murdered humans with blood pouring out of their wounds, continuously flooding the train.

"Ah...~ Such a lovely sight, isn't it..?~" Enmu quietly asked as he took my hand and led me to the nearest compartment filled with dead bodies.

I squatted down to the floor and sat still, while Enmu began to ruthlessly devour a human, tearing their limbs out and placing them in his drooling mouth. I wasn't starving as much, so I remained on the floor, calmly spectating Enmu as he took a bite out of a torn out arm with a delighted smile on his face, making the atmosphere indescribably pleasing.

"My...~ You surely love creating such scenes, do you?~" I playfully questioned him as I looked at the deceased bodies laying around with their blood spilled on the floor, while the relaxing sounds of the train moving along the rails echoed in the background.

"Yes, absolutely.~ Isn't this the best aesthetic you could ever imagine?~ I always wanted to live on a train, there's so much benefits from a life like that~ Travelling to different places, getting free food in the form of passengers, and the whole ambience of being inside a transport like this always sparked an interest in me..~" Enmu went off on a ramble while enthusiastically throwing his arms around, carefully explaining his thoughts in precise details.

"You know, I certainly have a love for trains, and I'd love to live inside one with you one day...~"

"Awh, well I have my own place to look after.. But maybe one day..~" I muttered out with a slight smirk on my face, moving over to Enmu and closing the distance between us.

"Gosh, I love you so much...~" He replied, wrapping his arms around my shoulders, making me tilt my head and rest it on his as he continued to take tiny bites of the torn flesh.

...

"Speaking of different places... This might seem a bit random, but I just remembered a spot that I have a sudden urge to visit when we arrive home...~" I broke the silence that reigned over us for a few seconds.

"Oh?~ And where might that be?~"

"Not so far away from my house.~ I want to show you a place on the other side of the mountain I live on, it's near a small village next to a spacious field, pretty sure you seen it before.~ It sort of brings back faint memories from my past, so I thought that taking you there to enjoy the view together would be nice...~" I told him, while he carefully listened to every single word of mine.

"Ah, I'd be more than happy to go to a place that was related with your past~" He replied, to which I almost instantly pressed him closer to me as he a small blush spread across his face from surprise, and then I started to gradually move my face to his until our lips gently touched, and the light taste of blood lingered on my tongue.

...

"By the way, I wanted to ask, did you kill everyone on the train?" I questioned as a sudden desire to kill grew upon me after not hunting for a while.

"Ah yes, I indeed have, why do you ask?~" Enmu replied as he awkwardly scratched the back of his head.

"Oh. Well then, it's nothing" I muttered emptily, turning my face away in slight disappointment.

"My my! Sorry sweetheart, I didn't know you also wanted to kill this night, I apologise"

"Hm? Never mind it. It's okay-" He cut me off with a tight hug, so tight that I could barely move a muscle or take a breath.

"My dear, I'm still very sorry for letting you down and doing everything myself. I didn't think that you'd be in the mood for something like this tonight, judging how your bloodlust is way more subtle than mine. I promise you, next time all passengers will be yours...~" He reassured me as he loosened his grip and let me breathe.

"Don't stress it, in fact I'd much rather prefer to spend some time with you instead..~"

...

"I'm always yours sweetheart...~ " Enmu's gentle voice rang out as I remained in his embrace for a while, looking out the window and examining the view outside.

...

Gosh, the time really flies by fast, is it almost dawn already..? A few more hours and it will be light outside again. I just wish that one day I would be able to step outside into the sunlight and not be afraid to get burnt alive, just like when I was a human. This whole thought makes me want to help Master Kibutsuji achieve a way to withstand the sun and hopefully conquer it myself someday. Speaking of Muzan, later on tonight Enmu and I were going to be sent to a Kizuki gathering, so I had to mentally prepare myself for any sort of task that we would get assigned. Plus, I wanted to prove myself useful to Master better than usual, after all what demon wouldn't want to gain more power and strength, evolving their skills and receiving a higher rank.

...

"Enmu, how did you become a member of the Twelve Kizuki?" I questioned with curiosity, breaking the silence while laying on his knees.

"Oh?~ Why is it that you're interested?~"

"Just curious how your story varies from mine"

"Hm..~ Well it all started on one night when Master encountered me and wanted to completely devour me. He didn't plan on turning me into a demon, I was fatally wounded and half of my intestines were eaten, however I envied Master's strength and praised him before passing out. I eventually awoke and found myself transformed into a demon, after that moment I was loyal to Muzan ever since, and I did my best to ascend to the rank of Lower Moon One.~" Enmu explained, averting his gaze down to me.

"I remained in the same position for quite a while, until you caught up with me.~" He added, teasing smiling into my face.

"Oh..- My bad, I guess..~" I laughed everything off, feeling some sort of guilt arise inside my chest once he said that.

"No no dear, don't apologise~ Instead, why don't you tell me about how you got to where you are now amongst the Twelve Moons?~" Enmu reassured me, excitedly waiting for me to start speaking.

"Oh, it's... a complicated story.. But to cut it short, I used to live along with humans, and once everybody found out about the fact that I was a demon, I ran off and began living by myself, serving Muzan as best as I could and steadily climbing up in ranks within the Lower Moons..." I explained, continuing our conversation as the train gradually reached closer to our destination and made me thrilled of getting back home.

What an eventful night, the entertainment district, a passionate session of Enmu's teasing, and a pleasant discussion about each other's past...

I'm so glad that Enmu took me on this trip...
