He fastened it around his neck, tucking it beneath his shirt before returning to Thor, box in hand.
The blonde didn't question the box, but instead called for Heimdal when they reached the roof.
Whether she knew it or not, and he was pretty sure she didn't, the girl had claimed him as hers. And he found he did not mind at all.

December 26"G'night." She called to Steve after changing out of her dress and into comfy pajamas, wiping off her makeup.
"Sleep well." He called back from behind his closed door.
She closed the door to her room, sighing.
The first thing she noticed was the open window, the second thing was the package wrapped messily in newspaper that was sitting on her desk.
Harli summoned her magic, slowly approaching the box. Curling her fingers toward her, the tape that closed it came undone. She flinched backwards, expecting an explosion or a poison gas to be set off.
Nothing happened.
She peeked back at it, seeing only a cardboard box.
Taking steps towards it, she peeked into the box, revealing another white box inside it.
She reached in and took it out, staring at it.
Tentatively, she popped the lid, and gasped at what she saw.
A silver necklace sat there, a roughly cut amethyst hanging from it.
Below the necklace was a folded piece of paper.
Merry Christmas.
Thank you.

She bit her lip to keep the tears from welling in her eyes, and picked up the necklace before hanging it around her neck.
After checking around her room to make sure nothing was missing, she found that a leather cord bracelet she had bought a week after the Loki Incident, as S.H.I.E.L.D agents were calling it, had happened. It was missing, but she didn't mind.
She smiled, "Something to try to jog your memory, eh?"
Harli climbed into her bed, and fell asleep clutching the pendant.

Harli sat up, blinking.
She was back in the forest.
"Circe?" She called, standing and brushing off her pajamas. "Kronos? Arlian?"
Nothing. Not even a peep.
She looked out into the dark forest beyond, and hesitated for a moment before steeling her nerves, and stepping out of the clearing.
She felt the difference instantaneously, in the shadows of the forest, she could not see the sky, the tall trees causing shadows and darkness to cover her.
The silence surrounding her was the most unnerving part as she travelled deeper into the forest.
Eventually, she was totally and hopelessly lost.
This is my mind. How the hell am I lost? She thought, annoyed.
"Well, well, well." A deep voice said from behind her. She whipped around, but only saw more trunks of trees. "What do we have here?"
