Harli sighed and grabbed their arms, pushing them both into the hole. The missile hit, and she had just enough time to dive into the hole before fire exploded around them.
Steve covered the two women with his shield the best he could, though Harli, who just barely made it in time, was more exposed, and was hit by debris.
The world went dark again.

October 3He sat in the dark, listening to the soft footfalls of the man he was supposed to get his mission from.
Pierce entered the room without noticing him, opening the fridge and grabbing the carton of milk.
When he turned to put it on the counter, he did a double take when he realized that the soldier was sitting at his kitchen table, a gun on the hard surface between them.
"I'm going to go, Mr. Pierce." An accented voice called. "You need anything before I leave?"
He knew it was from the director's maid, but he paid her little mind.
"No, uh. It's fine, Renata, you can go home." Pierce called back, still staring at the soldier.
She said her goodbyes, and he listened to the door slam shut.
"Want some milk?"
There was only silence from the man.
"No? Alright." The older looking man poured some into a glass, looking thoughtful.
The soldier watched, his face blank as he waited for his mission to be delivered.
"The timetable has moved." Pierce said, looking up at the soldier. "Our window is limited."
It was as the soldier expected.
"Three targets, the man and the red haired woman are level six, the other girl is a level eleven, though she will be weak from the poison." Pierce walked around the counter, sitting down in the chair opposite him.
"They already cost me Zola. I want the confirmed death of the man and red haired woman within ten hours." He took a sip from his glass, observing the stoic soldier. "Bring the other girl in, she may be useful."
"Sorry Mr. Pierce, I..." The woman was back, and she was staring right at him. "I-I forgot my phone."
The older looking man sighed, picking up the gun on the table. "Oh Reneta, I wish you had knocked."
Two shots rang out, and the woman fell dead to the floor.
All of this was observed by the soldier, who was unaffected by the death.

October 3When Harli awoke, she was laying on something ridiculously soft.
"My fuckin' head ugh." She groaned, sitting up and putting a hand to her forehead.
It had been bandaged and there was gauze over one eye.
