On ice

Everyone had an hobby, from singing to dancing to even taking care of animals. You could assume that Tommy's hobby was playing Minecraft or streaming, but your wrong. Don't get it wrong, he liked to stream Minecraft and talk to his friends, but there was something completely different he loved.

It started when he was young, his parents took him on the rink. It was first time, when he could go on the ice and try ice skating. For little Tommy it was something magical and beautiful, to just watch other people doing this. He imidiatelly fell in love in this. After a months of convictions of his parents, they finally agreed to let him start training with professional coach. First trainings were about training his posture and flexibles. At first it wasn't that easy, but with time he was better and better at this. At the age of 10, Tommy took a part in championship, where he win second place. Three years later, he was in another championship but won first place. He trained for over 10 years and now he was 17.

Even if he started streaming and making videos on YouTube, he never thought about quiting ice skating. He loved this more that anything else. Of course, he didn't say anything to his friends, cause he thought it was unimportant. His trainings were three times a week with his coach. He was working to perfection, he knew he was already really good but he wanted to train more and more. Of course, sometimes he would come home with some scratches and bruises, but even good ice skaters can fall. His parents were happy for him, that he can  do what he want. They were glad that they agreed on this, since the boy wasn't sitting only in home. Every Saturday, he and his family would go on the ice rink, so they could see what he can do. After that long training, everything he could do was normal. But for other people that didn't train ice skating, it was something impressive and awesome.

And here we are, Tommy was wearing his ice skates and slowly stepping on the ice. His coach smiled at him and told him to do some laps around the rink. He gladly started skating, ignoring everything that was happening around him. It was private rink, so there wasn't many people. Only if someone wanted to pay much more money than normal would cost, could be here.

"Alright Tommy, let's start with some One-Handed Biellmann" he said, as he watched Tommy stop.

"Okay" Tommy said as he started skating again.

One-Handed Biellmann was one of his favorite spin, since it wasn't that hard or easy. (If you don't know how it looks, look up minute 1:18 at the top). For him it was easy, since he was taught to do that when he was 9. It was impressive spin, since it was long.

"After your done, let's do some Salchow and Axel" his coach said, observing Tommy all the time.

Tommy with a smile did both jumps, after each stoping a little and then again. His coach was proud of him, he saw how energetic, patient and determined he was on the ice. He easy remembered how to do tricks and sometimes he would teach himself other tricks on his own. People watching him were always impressed, he was young yet talented. But fortunately for him, none of them knew him from twitch or YouTube. He was glad that they didn't, they would probably spread the information among everyone and then, his friends would know too. It's not like he didn't want them to know, no, he just wasn't sure what they might think about him and his passion. It would be embarrassing for him.

He was so focused on his jumps, that he didn't even heard or saw that some people walked inside of the rink. His coach looked around at them. There were 5 people, one younger that the rest. He smiled at them and walked up to greet them.

"Good morning" he said as they looked at him, the oldest smiled at him too and shook his hand.

"Good morning, I see we're not alone here" he said. "I'm Philza, this is Tubbo, Jack, Wilbur and Niki" he said.

"I'm William and this is my student, Tommy."

Tubbo though about Tommy, his Tommy, but is that possible? No no no, Tommy wouldn't practice ice skating, right? He looked at Wilbur who looked down at him, they thought the same.

Philza talked to William for awhile, while the rest of them were getting ready to get on the ice. Tubbo peaked at the boy that was spinning on the ice and jumping from time to time. He had dirty blond hair and closed eyes. He looked like Tommy but he wasn't sure.

"Let's go" Niki said as she stepped on the ice rink.

To be honest, she and Phil were the only one of them that knew how to skate, they know a little, but not that much as them. She took Jack's arm and pulled him onto the ice. He wasn't sure if it's good idea, but as soon as he saw that Philza was holding Wilbur's hand and walking on the ice, he relaxed a little. Tubbo, since he was younger than them, could skate alone. Of course he wasn't that good at all.

"Tommy! Come and help this young man, he isn't that good on ice" William said.

Tommy stoped what he was doing and came closer to the boy that was struggling to stand on the ice. Tommy noticed that it was Tubbo, which means the other people were probably his friends. He cursed under his nose and took Tubbo's hand.

"Tommy?" He asked as Tommy looked into his eyes.

"Hey" he said.

Tommy pulled Tubbo further onto the ice, making him Yelp in surprise. Tubbo clinged to Tommy's arms, trying not to fall and not to let go off him. Tommy laughed at him and started skating, slowly at first not to scare his friend even more. Tubbo was laughing along with Tommy while others observed them and laughed too.

"Tommy, let's swap" Philza said as he held Wilbur's hand.

"What?! No no no! The child is going to spin me" Wilbur pleased not to swap.

"Okay!" Tommy yelled happily.

He let go of Tubbo, pushing him towards Phil as he did the same with Wilbur. Wilbur avoided Tubbo and soon, was hold in Tommy's arms.

"Hello bitch" he said, laughing and skating away from rest.

He had grin on his face, which meant he wanted to do something with Wilbur.

"Don't you dare" he said.

"It's pay back for calling me a child" Tommy said as he started spinning with Wilbur.

Wilbur started yelling at Tommy to stop, swearing at him and Philza, when finally Tommy stoped in one place. Slowly he started to skate around his friends, still pulling Wilbur with him.

"See? It's not that hard nor scary" he said, pushing Jack with his back as Niki let him go.

Now, he was pushing Jack with his back, pulling Wilbur by his arms and staring at his coach. His coach only smiled at him and noded letting him have fun with his friends.

Tommy with a big smile let go of Wilbur, leaving him alone on the ice and pushing Jack harder so he was alone. Tommy laughed and started skating around them, helping them with their position and standing still.

It was something Tommy enjoyed, something that made him happy. But since his friends were here, it was even better.
