Ever since Tommy's parents started drinking and lost their jobs, everything turned upside down. Earlier loving parents, now terrible tyrans. Now matter what he did, even if it was something good, they would always yell and argue. It was like a dream, but not the good kind of dream, it was an real nightmare. Everyday was the same, as he wished to wake up. Just so everything would be back normal. But like always, life wasn't fair for him. It was just his life, the way he had fo live and function.
Everyday arguing, the abuse, the pain. It become his routine as he slowly got used to it. He realized that there was no help for him. Nothing was left for him, only to accept it. And so he did. He never mentioned this on stream, he never spoke of this. He never did anything about it, he just let it happen. No one heard about that, not even his closest friends.

Now, he stood in the bathroom trying to cover up his bruises. His eyes trailed to look at his right cheek when the biggest bruise was. Probably the one when he fell and hit the edge of the coffee table. He caressed it with his fingers, flinching at the slight pain. Sigh escaped his lips as he began to cover this one too, making sure it will be covered fully and no on will be able to notice that.
He blinked, his reflection copying his movements. After a moment of staring at the mirror he turned around and left the bathroom, walking towards his room. Of course it wasn't peaceful walk. When he  closed the doors yelling imidiatelly rang in his ears. He caught himself reaching his hands to cover his ears. He did it, walking to his room as quiet as he could.
Sometimes, when he was quiet enough and they wouldn't hear him, they wouldn't notice him. Then he wouldn't exist, he could walk to his room and close himself inside. They would simply forgot about him, caring more about their alcohol and money. He never really matters to them, he was only a punching bad that they cold release the stress on. It was terrible, they would drag him by his hairs, the other day they would close him in the basement with no food and water.

"Shut up you stupid bitch! You don't do anything in this house!" A male voice yelled angrily downstairs.

"Oh yeah?! Like you do something in this house! You only go out with friends and drink! God knows how many women you have behind my back" female one responded.

"Maybe you should tell me about this 'Mark' that you have been meeting up behind my back! All I hear is how my wife is not royal and is sleeping with every guy that has money's"

It was like that ever day. Either of them was wrong. Tommy saw his mom bring different men every week, while his father often come home with chapstick on his neck. One thing never changed, the smell of alcohol all around their body's. They were just gross.

So when he finally locked the doors to his room, he flopped down on the bed and looked at the white ceiling above him. The same, dull ceiling. The one that he can look at for hours and hours straight, not once taking his eyes off of it. It somehow relaxed him, just seeing something so simple yet calm. It was peaceful before his phone light up, alarming him about a new massage. However, he had no strength to check it up, so he layed there, completely ignoring his phone. It lighted up two more times, before he sighed and picked it up.

Hey big man! Just wanted to let you know that we are playing bed wars. Wanna join?

Tommy blinked his eyes three times, many scenarios running through his head. He could only play when he was streaming, no earlier or later than 9 pm. It was 6 pm. Winter.
He quickly typed in an excuse, before thinking for a second. Either way, he send it.
