"Oh okay," I said quietly. Maybe he just doesn't want to let me know everything about him. I changed the topic quickly.
"It smells good in here," I said, glancing over to the kitchen."It'll be ready in just a second," he said and stood up, then he opened a cabinet next to the refrigerator. He took a white table cloth with candles and a bouquet of flowers, put it on the table decorating it a little. He went back and put a bottle of champagne in the middle with two tall glasses next to it. It looked really expensive.
"Can I help you?"
"No no. I'll do it," he said confidently and started bringing food to the table, it was so many plates and different kinds of food that I couldn't even imagine. Grilled pork, chicken, rice, 3 types of different kinds of salads, eggs, cookies, the list could go on and on.
"Please take whatever you like, I hope you'll like it," he chuckled nervously, waiting for me to grab something first. I put on my plate different kinds of things and he did the same.
"I didn't know you can cook like this, it's delicious," I said and took another bite. Is there something these boys don't know?
We were talking about a shop a little, weather and just random stuff through dinner, laughing a lot on random stuff and it was definitely the best dinner date I've ever had and it's still wasn't over.
"I'll help you clean," I said standing up.
"You don't have to," he said taking empty plates from the table.
"Shhh," I said and chuckled and we both put everything into the dishwasher.
"So what do you want to do? Movie? Taking a walk?"
"I think a movie would be great and also listening to your music," I grinned at him, I wasn't going to give up.
"Okay," he sighed and we went to their living room. It wasn't huge but not small too, it has one big black leather sofa that 8 people could easily fit, a white conference table with different magazines on it and huge TV in front of it.
We sit next to each other, very close to one another and I wasn't complaining.
"So, let me hear something pleaseeee," I turned to him.
"Okay but I need to crop it so you won't hear the rest," he said, taking his phone into his hands and connecting the headphones to his phone, concentrating on cropping the song he was about to play me.
He unplugged his headphones and played the 6 seconds snippet of the song.
(Changbin's part in Miroh)My jaw dropped and I couldn't believe it. He started laughing at me after he saw my face.
"What the hell was that?" I said, still shocked, "you said you weren't good and you played me something like this? Oh my god," I freaked out. Hearing his rapping voice was so attractive and the speed he was rapping was even more insane.
"It's not good," he said quietly.
"It's not because it's perfect. Stop being like this," I said "let me listen to it again," I said and he handed me the phone, trusting me with it," I played it 3 more times.
"Thank youuuu," I said after a while, he was watching my face the whole time I was listening to it.
"I'm really glad you like it," he smirked at me.
"I didn't expect I wouldn't like it, and your voice is attractive,"
"Really?" he said quietly.
"Yes," I admitted.
"Your voice is attractive as well," he said, almost whispering, I felt shivers all over my body. I couldn't be able to say anything.
"So," he cleared his throat, cutting off the tension that was between us, "what movie would you like to watch?"
"Horror movie?"
"You like them?"
"I love them," I smiled at him excitedly.
"Me too," he smirked and I was glad we have another thing in common.
When the movie started we were lightly chatting about stuff that was getting on the screen, sitting very close to each other, but after a while, I leaned closer to him and he put an arm around my shoulder, pulling me even closer. For the first time in months, I feel safe and protected. Right there. In his arms, even if it was a half-hug like that.
"I really loved this," I said after the movie ended.
"Do you want me to walk you home? I don't really like the idea of you going home alone in the dark," he asked softly.
"Of course, I would love to," I said and he slowly moved his hand away from me, smiling.
His friends didn't even call or come, I was really surprised that they didn't show up after 4 hours, they must've been really good friends to not interrupt.
We left the dorm and we headed to my house, it was around 20 minutes away, but I didn't complain about being with him for more than 20 minutes.
"That was like the best date I've ever had," I admitted.
"Not to brag, but mine too," he said and chuckled right after, "but what is your reason?"
"Your cooking skills surprised me, also the movie picks and hearing how talented you're, but still, it's not because of what you did but how you are, and you're funny and sweet and everything, and I just loved spending time with you, I loved it," I said shyly, I was glad he wasn't able to see my blushing because of the lack of light outside.
"You have no idea how happy I'm to hear that," he smiled and it sounded very honest, "of course, the same goes for you."
We were going through the city, randomly talking about how he loves this neighborhood and that he never noticed our shop, but when he wanted a bike, he just went on google and found the location. The coincidence of happy coincidences.
I stepped in front of our little house, switching the light on our porch, to see him better.
"It was really fun, thank you so much," I said, leaning closer to kiss his cheek softly, blushing hard.
"I hope I can take you out another time?" he said smirking.
"You can," I smiled and put my hand on our front door handle.
"I'll text you later, have a good night Minji," he winked at me and disappeared into the dark alley.
----
"Did you tell her you weren't the one who cooked?" Minho asked when I sit next to him on the sofa.
"Why would I do that?"
"What if you'll end up together and I'll have to cook for you for the rest of my life?" he said seriously.
"Don't be silly, I'll tell her eventually," I said scratching the back of my neck.
"Also," I said loudly this time, "she kissed me," I said confidently, I didn't want to brag but I couldn't believe it myself.
"Ohhhhhh," all of them said at the same time.
"How was it?" "Did you kiss her back?" "Is she a good kisser?" many questions were asked but I didn't answer any of them.
"She only kissed my cheek, that's all. And I played her my part in Miroh" I said smirking.
"Did she like it? And not recognized it?" Chan asked quickly.
"She loved did and she didn't, she was playing it over and over. I was afraid that she already heard it on the radio," I said, I was enjoying that she doesn't know who I am, even lying to her is making me feel guilty.
