The next morning I woke up earlier than I hoped, Jeanne was still sleeping like a rock. Though I feel like she has a natural countermeasure where if I even try to move slightly she groans and starts clinging to me as if pinning me to the bed.

I am almost a hundred percent sure she is still sleeping which makes it even more adorable.

With one arm completely out of commission and trying to sneak out of her hold to get some work done so that I can spend less time doing that much is out of the question for now. I did however manage to reach for her phone on the bedside table which kept me entertained for the coming hour.

It's strange. They aren't open about magic in this timeline, where everyone in my timeline knew about magic and treats the Grail War like a sport of some sort.

Fuyuki city was rebuilt... to be an arena of some sort and the city where I was born was just a few miles away from it.

It is strange that they managed to make sport from something that can be as gruesome as this. Though with that change it forced them to fight on equal ground and for the sake of Caster needing to create territory and stealing people's mana... they send out inmates to roam the city.

They don't survive, ever.

"Goodmorning..." A sleepy voice whispers to me, lifting herself from my arm, "You are awake so early," stretching her arms behind her head she then yawns loudly.

"G'morning, yeah I didn't want to wake you so I made sure I stayed in place."

She then rubs her eyes, "Hmmmm."

"You are still asleep aren't you?"

She nods, "Just a little bit," lifting myself she then suddenly gets a surge of energy, "Where are you going?"

"Making us something to drink," she instantly relaxes, "Coffee or tea?"

"Give me what you are taking."

I smile at her, "Alright," kicking the covers off of my legs I jump out of bed heading straight for the kettle. Filling the water about halfway I was about to turn around to see if she passed out again - she wraps her arms lazily around my middle.

"I will be starting with work in just a few."

Feeling her head resting against my back, she nods, "Yeah, but do you have to do it so early?"

"I got the baseline written down. I just need to go into the advanced theory and capabilities of the Grail then I will be able to formulate a plan that won't get anyone killed."

"Can't you just... make a plan now?"

"Unfortunately not. I have to do it all based on memory and if it is written down then I am more than likely not to overlook something that could make or break the plan."

"Boring," she then sighs, "Fine fine fine. I am hungry."

I then look at the cupboards, "I don't think they have anything in stock. Should I order something for you?"

She nods, "I don't want to walk anywhere. Can you get something to be door delivered?"

"I can, that depends what you want to eat."

"What do you feel like eating?"

"I am not hungry."

She groans, "Then get hungry."

"That... okay," I chuckle, the kettle stops boiling I reach for the cups as I start making us coffee, though knowing full well that I do make my coffee strong I held back a little.
