i am on fire today here is another chapter. i might as well make up for the fact that i have not been on here in a long time with some awesome fanfiction. i must say i am liking how things are working out so far. please vote and comment comment comment.

Gumball’s point of view

 

i woke up to sweet hands caressing my face. i smiled and opened my eyes already knowing exactly who it was.

 

“Marshall”

“Gumball how are your feeling?”

 

“Much better. but i have a terrible headache and my ankle is throbbing allot.” without thinking i placed my hand on the one against my head. “Thank you for staying with me. How long have i been out?”

“about two hours in thirty minute intervals so we can make sure that there was no brainthingy damage”

 

“you mean my neurosystem Marshmallow”

 

“Yeah that thing. I am just glad you are okay.”

 

“I’m just glad that you're here.”

 

“so any news on my ankle?”

 

“It's a sprain i think, nothing broken or anything”

 

“that’s good” i yawned. “i am still so tired.”

 

“you should be you crazy gumdrop! pulling a stunt like that. if my heart could speed up fast enough i think i would have had a heart attack.” he half worried and half joked.

 

“haha okay i won’t strain myself that much ever again.”

 

“you better not”

“where is the location of the nurse?”

“she went out for a smoke.”

 

“the amount of professionalism that this school’s faculty has is atrocious.” i grounded.

Then Marshall hesitated, “maybe you should stay home for today.”

 

my smile disappeared.

“now now now,” marshall said trying to calm the storm that he knew was coming. “i know that you want to stay but don’t you think this is more than enough reason for an excused absence.”

 

“i seem to be missing a lot of school because of you.”  I ridiculed crossing my arms.

 

“i just want to make sure you're okay,”  he placed a kiss on my forehead.

 

i giggled. “when did you get romantic.”
