I walk behind the principal, but I don't feel sad or sorry. I'm glad I did what I did for once. The only thing I don't understand is this: why do I get caught, but she never does?

I walk with my head held high and my backpack hanging low on my back. We walk to the principals office with her and she tells me to sit outside of her door. She goes inside her office and says, "You're free to go to class Mr. Borden."

I hear shuffling inside the room and a tall handsome boy comes out. His short brown hair hangs down just above his eyebrows and his soft green eyes stare into my soul. His biceps are big and you can slightly see his abs underneath his gray shirt. He stops a couple feet away from the principals door and turns to her and says, "Thanks Mrs. Principal I hope to see you again. Maybe sometime soon. Then the next time I'm in your office we can talk."

He smiles. His smile is so adorable and it fits his face well. His green eyes look sorry as he looks into Mrs. Georgia's. I know he's a bad boy since he said, "next time," so I know I can't get close to him.

That's when I remember: he's the guy from the party, and the guy that stood outside my car tapping on my window and asking me if I'm okay. He may be a bad boy, but he's caring and sweet. Sweet enough to carry me away from Kate. This is the most I've ever just... looked at him. He's so self confident and charming. When he says something, there's not one hint of doubt in every word.

"Mr. Borden," Principal Georgia says with her British accent, "next time you get in trouble you will not be in my room. You'll be in detention."

She gave him an evil stare and he backed up, putting his hands up in surrender. "Yes, ma'am," he said then glanced at me once more, giving me a grin, "I'll be on my way then."

He turns around and walks away leaving my heart pounding against my chest. "Who um... who's he?" I ask.

"If I were you I wouldn't get into that mess," she responded with her arms crossed over her chest, "he's bad news for a girl like you."

"B-but you don't even k-know me," I say, watching the mysterious guy turn the corner and disappear. I look up at her and realize that she's smiling at me, "W-what?"

"I do know you Mrs. Christian whether you like it or not," she steps aside and motions to the door. "Please, come in Mrs. Christian."

I do as she says and I get up and walk inside her office.
