Picture of Ally!

Song: Misery Business by Paramore

--Drew Borden

I wake up before my alarm goes off on my phone. I turn off the alarm before I sit up and yawn while stretching. I look over to Ally's bed, and a smile gets plastered on my face when I see that she's still asleep. I get up quietly and walk over to her. She's holding her pillow in her arms as if it were a teddy bear and she's laying in fetal position. She looks like a cute 7-year-old. If I told her that she'd probably hit me.

I gently kiss her nose and she squirms and lays on her back, her hands above her head and the pillow falls onto the floor. I smile at how adorable she looks and I go back to my bed and get my phone. I walk back over to Ally and I take a picture of her, and right after the picture snaps my phone starts buzzing. Arrin's number pops onto the screen and I quietly walk out of the room before answering the phone.

Before I can say a word, Arrin says, "Come to your backyard."

Before I can question him, he hangs up. I think about going back to get my shirt, but that might wake Ally, so I simply walk downstairs and to my backyard. Sliding the door open, I step outside and see Arrin leaning up against the wooden pole on the patio. I close the door behind me and he looks at me.

"Dude, have you heard?" he asks, walking over to me.

"Heard what?" I ask, and he grabs my shoulders and looks dead into my eyes. I almost step back, because he's kind of freaking me out.

"Ally killed her mom, dude! You have to get rid of this chick. That's probably why her dad did that shit to her bro!"he quietly yells at me.

I move his hands off of my shoulders and I shake my head. "I don't believe that one bit. Those are stupid rumors, dude. Ally's way too sweet for that."

"Okay, Romeo," Arrin says, rolling his eyes. "The press recorded her and she seemed pretty suspicious. She was stuttering when she said that she didn't kill her mom. She didn't even cry bro!"

"That doesn't mean anything. Ally's dad probably made that shit up to hurt Ally and Ally stutters in front of new people. Especially when there are a bunch of reporters taking videos of her and asking her questions."

"Dude I just think you need to watch out for this girl. She almost went to a mental hospital!"

"How do you know about that?" I ask, stepping closer to him.

"I thought that was a fucking rumor! That was true?!" He yells, surprised.

"Arrin, just shut the fuck up. Look, Ally did not kill her mom. She can't harm anyone she's way too sweet."

"If she's so sweet then why did she stab her dad?"

"What the fuck are you talking about!? She didn't stab her fucking dad! Get your fucking facts right before you come to my house and say shit to me!" I scream. I hear voices other than mine or Arrin's. We stand completely still as we hear footsteps. Suddenly people with cameras and microphones come through the gates and onto the grass. They start speaking, but I don't listen to any of them. Arrin turns around to look at them, but I'm only looking at Arrin.

I spin Arrin around and step closer to him. "Don't fucking spread rumors," I say sternly.

"They aren't fucking rumors, they're the truth!" He shouts, and the crowd of people go silent.

"No it's fucking not and you know that. All the shit that people are saying is bull! If you're my best friend then you believe what I'm saying not what everyone else is saying!" I scream back.
