Chapter 23

FOR SOME reasons, I ignore it. I don't know the girl. Lasing lang sila that's why they kissed. I am not Solitaire's girlfriend, I don't own Solitaire that's why I don't have the right to feel jealousy. But still, I can't help it.

Papunta sa kanila, I just rode subway train since wala naman na maghahatid sa akin. He met me in the station with Clark. We're on the road trip on his house.

"Parang tahimik ka yata, Pau." Biglang basag ni Clark sa pagmumuni-muni ko.

Napaangat ako ng tingin. My eyes met with Solitaire in the dashboard mirror. I just smiled. I don't want them to think any malicious thoughts I have inside my head.

"May iniisip lang." Sagot ko.

"College pressures?" Tanong ni Solitaire.

Tumango ako.

Clark start to lift my spirit by joking around college life. Sinakyan ko naman at nakitawa kahit papaano. I don't want them to ask me anymore questions. Kalilangan hindi ko na iyon isipin. That's an unsure thing, unsure thing should be never entertained.

This is the first day of our lessons sa drums. Pinilit ko na huwag na isipin iyon. Clark and Solitaire fetch me in the subway train. Dapat sana magko-commute ako papunta sa kanila. I can manage but this two was there waiting for me in the train.

Pagkarating sa kanila, there are noises from inside the house. Hindi namin ito pinansin ar dumiretso sa garahe. He lift up the sliding door at tumambad ang nakaready na drums sa gitna at rhythm guitar na may ampli na nakakabit. Bigla akong napangiti at napatingin sa kanya.

"Told you, I'mma help you." He wink.

"Thank you." I mouthed and he nod with a smile.

It's past 10 when we arrive and kahit ako nakakaramdam na ng gutom. Umalis ako ng 9 am at hindi ko intensyon na maglunch sa kanila. I was supposed to take my lunch at fast food kaso nasa subway sila nagiintay. Inaya kami ni Solitaire na kumain sa loob. Clark and I followed him. Pagbukas namin sa pinto, his cousins, his brother, his brother's girlfriend and a lady was a chaos on the sofa. May hawak na controller si Winston at si BM. JM was holding a megaphone made in a piece of folder. Pauline was beside Winston and a girl with angelic eyes was beside BM. Napatigil sila at napatingin sa amin.

"Pause n'yo! Pause n'yo!"

Napabalik sila sa game para i-pause ang game dahil na din sa dikta ni JM at muling ibinalik sa amin ang atensyon.

"Lagi na lang kayo magulo pagnagsasama-sama." Clark laugh then passed at them. Dumiretso ito sa kusina.

"Shut up, Clark. Talo ang team n'yo kahapon. Sira ang base at mahina nag skills." Sumbat ni JM na halatang nang-aasar.

"Chamba n'yo lang. Rematch next week." Pagdidiin ni Clark saka umupo sa lamesa

"Kumain na kayo?" Tanong ni Solitaire sa mga tao sa sofa.

"Kakatapos lang." Sagot ni BM.

"Good." Solitaire and I walk pass through them and they followed us. Tinantanan lang nila kami nung nakaupo na kami lamesa. Bumalik sila sa paglalaro. Nagsasandok ako ng kanin nung marinig ko ang dismaya ni Winston na binitawan ang controller ng console. BM laugh like he owns the house at naipanalo ang kontrata na magiging alipin n'ya si Winston habang buhay.

"Don't mind them, they always like that kapag nagsasama-sama." Solitaire probably saw my glued attention to the people.

"Nah it's fine. They look good together. Sino yung isang babae?" Tanong ko saka inabot ang ulam na inabot ni Clark.
