Maka's alarm went off at seven in the morning waking up both of them. Maka was laying on her back and Soul was facing his back to hers, Maka turned off her alarm and stretched a little.
Maka sat up and so did Soul, he walked out the room and went to his to change. Maka took out her clothes and began to undress herself. She struggled on her own
"why didn't you wait for me" Soul walked in ready for school
"W-wait I- oh forget it I give up" Maka said
He helped her dress up Maka quickly and quietly
This is so embarrassing
"alright lets eat breakfast and head out"
They had cereal in silence
"are you okay Maka? you're really red"
"huh? I'm fine" Maka said taking another spoon full of cereal to avoid trying to explain that she is embarrassed.
"you're ready to go?" Maka nodded and they headed out, they took Soul's motorcycle and headed to school
they reached to school early to get ready for their first class, Soul and Maka were in it together to teach the high schoolers on resonating. Maka noticed her friends, curious to what they were doing and noticed a familiar purple haired person
"Maka you're back!" Crona said happily
"Oh my death Crona!" Maka smiled and hugged Crona softly
"I covered most of your work" Tsubaki said as she sat down, she wasn't an assistant teacher but asked her to cover for her while she was in the hospital
"Can't wait to fight these little weaklings HAHAHA!" Black Star said loudly
"We are going to start soon, you guys should head out" Soul said
"We were actually asked here to demonstrate" Black Star said
"Have you guys seen kid? I heard he was back too" Tsubaki asked
"Not sure, I didn't see him earlier" Crona said
Kid and the twins entered and approached his friends with a soft smile
"hi Maka welcome back, I hope you're taking it easy" Kid said with a weird tone, confused almost
"Thank you, I should be fully healed within a month or so. How was your mission? we missed you" She said as she extended her arms, it was actually healing
"well-" Kid was cut off by the professor
"alright everyone get ready by your partners. I would also like to introduce a new set of students, I know it is a little late into the semester but" The room fell silent when the new students opened the door and the old door creaked open
"these are our new students" The professor said
Maka and Black Stars eyes widen and froze. Tsubaki noticed and furrowed her eyebrows in confusion
"what's wrong Black Star" she asked
Soul looked at Maka and back at the new student
"Star" Makas throat felt dry and struck with fear "i-is this real?" her voice shook a little
"its real" Black Star gulped and his jaw tightened angrily
"welcome our new students Matoi Albarn and Eliza Prim"
they both stood by, Matoi bowed and stared directly at Maka and Black Star smiling
"please to meet you all, I hope I can get along with all of you" they announced
