Connected || Soul x Maka

The sun was rising, all the miesters weapons and healers arrived at the scene where they were told to attend. Everyone looked out into the distance in a serious determined face, the weapons turned into their weapon form for their miesters.

"Don't worry, we go this in the bag" Black Star reassured Maka

"Yea" But something doesn't feel right

A loud horn rang, it felt like a scene of a movie or a book. The release society were located miles away from the city, it was steaming hot that you can see the heat waves. Without another word everyone ran towards the enemy,

"Since Black Star and I were undercover for this we have a lot of information that can help us giving us the upper hand" Kid said as he was presenting the plan for the battle

"We are dividing into groups around the area, they are going to attack aimlessly mostly. They also believe we are short on miesters and weapons, there will be one thousand soldiers to attack death city and we have the double just to be sure."

"we will surround them without them knowing, also over time we have collected clothing that they will be wearing in the battle field meaning a group will fight from within " Black Star said as he demonstrated the clothing, which was all black with a heavy cloak and a mask to avoid being identified

"These are your assigned groups and stations we will have a fire gun for everyone. Only one person needs to fire blue indicating that your section is done, black requesting back up."

Everyone looked for their names and discussed among the groups of their techniques and strength

"Right off the bat soul resonance! link!" Maka yelled over the commotion

Black Star, Kid and Maka resonated together and fought, taking down nearly fifty of the enemy in less than one minute

"considering you guys haven't fought in a long time you're basically at our level" Black Star chuckled

"Yea well we had a week to cram this all together" Maka said as she took down another five on her own, her anxiety was warring away as she fought. She realized she was getting excited

"Maka!" Kid yelled out, Maka spun around and slashed the enemy

Suddenly bombs went off, staring from the opposite side and made a circle around them. The ground began to shake

"What's going on, this wasn't in their plan" Kid said "unless, they knew. EVERYONE GET AWAY FROM THE CENTER" Kid yelled

The ground broke and began to fall into pieces, Maka Black Star and Kid were able to get out. Most of their peers as well, many fell inside along with the enemies side, the battle continued regardless

"Don't request back up! we are going around and close them in with the opposite side with the rest of them!" Kid announced

When they reached over the kill everyone was panting and had a shocking face. Thousands of bodies lie on the floor equally of each side, from afar Maka was overwhelmed with the amount of souls she could detect

"K-Kid" Maka said in fear

"This can't be real"

From a distance a long black line of soldiers charged in their direction. Maka took out her pistol and shot her black signal into the air

"We can't give up! We are fucking miesters with death weapons! and the god of fucking death for fucks sake!" Black Star yelled

"SOUL RESONANCE!" A couple of miesters yelled the ones with guns or arrows aimed their big weapons towards the enemy
