"Hey Star you're never going to believe who's here" Maka said
"Who?"
"Well come over for dinner at 6, do you want to bring Tsubaki?"
"Nah she said she's doin somethin"
"Okay then, I'll see you later bye" Maka hanged up the phone call and started her shopping with Soul
"So he's a childhood friend?"
"Sort of, he would come here from Japan in the summer because his father worked here. We would see him every summer until we were thirteen" Maka explained
"That's cool, you never mentioned him before"
"I didn't think I would see him again, plus I thought he had forgotten about me" Soul nodded
After their shopping Maka started right away noticing she had about an hour until they arrive. Soul helped out to make drinks and cut up whatever Maka needed
When they finished Maka changed into shorts with long socks and a shirt, she put her hair in a high pony tail and pushed her bangs out the way with two clips with flowers on them
"I'm boiling even though we have the AC on" Maka said as she sat on the couch for a while
Soul stood by quietly, Maka thought it was odd how quiet he was
"Are you alright Soul?" Maka said
"Hmm? Yea I'm just hungry, can't wait to eat what we made"
The door bell rang and Maka huffed in exhaustion opening the door, she saw Oden with a tray of cut up fruit
"Hi Oden please come in"
"Hi, thank you for letting me come. Here I brought some fruit I thought we could all eat it after the meal" Oden said as he side hugged Maka, he handed her the tray and stepped inside
"I'm sure it will be a great snack" Maka said as she placed the tray inside the fridge
"Hey Soul, thank you for letting me in your home" Oden said as he went for a hand shake with Soul
"No problem" Soul said coldly
"Well now we are just waiting on-"
"Alright who am I seeing today that you're inviting me for dinner" Black Star blasted through the door and walked inside the home, he noticed Oden and grinned
"No way! Oden my dude what's up" Black Star pulled him into a hug and pat him hard on the back
"Black Star wow you've gotten taller.. and stronger"
"Hell yea! What else did you expect from the great Black Star"
"Nothing more and nothing less"
"Alright let's eat I'm starving" Maka said as she began to serve everyone their plate
The boys waited for Maka to sit, everyone nearly drooled over their food
"Alright!" Black Star clapped his hands along with everyone else
"Thank you for the food" everyone said in sync
They all ate their food at their own pase, Black Star being the fastest. Soul noticed Oden catching glances at him while they ate, he thought it was weird
"I'm getting seconds" he stood up and served himself more
"Mmhm" Maka said waving him off, she was so glad her food turned out very tasty, and everyone agreed
"How long are you staying Oden?" Black Star asked sitting down and picking up his chop sticks to eat again
"I moved here last week" Oden smiled
