Connected || Soul x Maka

Maka felt ready to end it all, she stood up from the ground and grabbed Matoi by their collar

"use me" Maka said angerly

"but I-"

"Hes going to kill Soul DO IT" Maka yelled, and with a little fear Matoi got up and grabbed on to Makas hand

Maka transformed into a black tall scythe about the same size as Soul. Matoi ran towards the witch and began to attack, they first slashed the hands of the witch causing them to drop Soul. Matoi spun Maka around like how they observe Maka do with Soul

"MAKA!" Black Star yelled as him and the rest of the group followed behind ready to fight the witch

Matoi kicked the witch with their legs centering them in the field surrounded by four miesters. Black Star noticed that it was Matoi and not Maka who was weilding the weapon

"is that.." Black Star said looking at the weapon, Makas reflection appeared on the blade not looking at Black Star

"Soul is hurt we need to end this, Matoi lets go!" Maka said

"right!" Matoi charged towards the witch, Kid and Black Star followed behind. before anyone could strike they were blasted by another electric magic shock, Crona let themselves fall behind

"Scream resonance!" they yelled as ragnorak screamed incredibly louder than before, the miesters covered their ears from the pain of the frequency

"Matoi!"

"on it!" Matoi was already after the witch another blow hit them sending them to the other side, Kid and Black Star battled while Matoi and Maka laid on the floor in agony

Maka transformed back to her human form and stood up. Maka looked at Souls direction, she tried to feel his soul but there was no trace. Makas heart dropped, she was numb. Couldn't react

"Maka come on transform back" Matoi said standing up

"I need a favor" Maka said

Black Star, Kid and Crona were having a hard time getting any progress on the witch, they were landing hits but there was hardly any damage. When Maka told Matoi the plan, their eyes widen

"no I can't do that"

"its the only way" Maka said

"You can die!"

"Soul is already dead so what good does it do for me!" Maka yelled, Matoi looked over to Soul

"Maka what-"

"Just do it!" Maka began to run towards the witch and attacked along with the rest of her friends

"Black Star, Kid, Crona lets go!" Matoi yelled

"Guys follow Matoi I will catch up! we need to regroup and think of a plan!" Maka yelled

As much as they wanted to continue the miesters agreed that they needed to find a plan to do actual damage. They were worn out from their own individual battles. As they ran towards Matoi's direction Black Star picked up Soul

"Maka" Soul said softly

"Soul you're awake!" Black Star said with relief

"you.. need to stop... Maka" Soul said

"we need to regroup she's coming don't worry"

"it's a grenade" Soul said with little energy he had left

Black Star turned to see Maka with something at hand and facing the witch

"MAKA" Black Star yelled, he placed Soul into Kids hands and ran in Makas direction.
