Maka felt flustered and in awe. She was so happy, she was planning on asking him out after he became a death scythe. He beat her to it

They headed back towards the party, everyone seemed to be okay socializing, Soul approached lord death and told him to follow him alone where no one was near

"I apologize if I pulled you right now, I wanted to discuss quickly about you being a death scythe now"

"What happened with you and Soul? you disappeared for a minute" Liz said smirking knowing what had happened

While they were gone, Liz told the friend group what had happened, everyone played dumb

"Yea Maka what we're you and Soul doing? Making out in the back in a room?" Black Star teased

"You guys are annoying" Maka laughed

"I felt that you were feeling a little uneasy and I wanted to reassure you that you don't have to be my death weapon right away. You're at a time of self discovery and the prime of your youth!"

"Spirit didn't become my death scythe right away even after becoming one, I'll give you time to think it over. If I ever need you I will ask of your assistance, for now just go on about your day and if you'd like, continue to help the students here" lord death said
