"Alright let's see from what the people reported in the last incident. They described that vines came to life, seems like they came from.. this flower shop" Maka said as they stood in front of a flower shop at the corner of the end of the street

Next to the shop there was a cemetery, the flower shop was closed and had yellow tape marking an X marked on the front of the shop. Vines were creeping on the sides looking like they are waiting for their next victim.

"I'm going to use soul perception so we- ah!" Maka was suddenly pulled by a thick greed vine and pulled inside the shop

She felt annoyed, Soul turned into his scythe form and cut the vine. Maka landed on her feet and held on to Soul

"Okay at least we know it's here" Maka said as she looked around

There were vines all around the walls, the flowers looked fresh and moist. The building was cold inside, Maka followed the vines and in the back of the store there was a room with three fridges with flowers in them

There was a huge oval shaped vine looking like an egg.

"I think there is something inside" Soul said

"Maybe this is the main body" Maka swung her scythe and cut the vines splitting it in half.

A burst of blue oval souls floated everywhere in the room, there were too many too count. They looked like stars had come down to earth, Maka felt sadden of how beautiful they looked but knew they were innocent people who were killed

Maka heard noise moving to their direction. Another vine attack, Maka was able to dodge and turned around to see there was a body, the skin was green, their hair was blue and long.

"NO! NO MY HARD WORK! You will pay" it said more vines came to attack and Maka dodged and cut off the vines

Maka cut the body split down the middle, the vines fell lifeless on the ground and a red soul appeared in front of them. Maka sighed

"That's number 95" Soul said as he took the soul and ate it

Maka had a feeling that there was more than just that. She didn't want to say it was easy but it was too quick

"Well let's call lord death and see what we can- whoa!" Maka was once again pulled by a vine

She was mad, Soul immediately reached to Makas hand. She cut the vine that pulled her from her ankle, the vines began to move around the room and went out the doors.

Maka ran and hid inside a small closet, she put Soul down for a second and tried to concentrate

"What's wrong?"

"I've been trying to use soul perception since we got here but I keep getting interrupted" Maka said annoyed, Soul kept quiet to let her concentrate

Maka opened her eyes and looked at Soul with a concerned look.

"What is it? How many more?"

"Five more" Maka said "we've never fought this many before"

"Are they all spread out?"

"Well they are divided into two groups, one is a group of 3 and the other is two. Let's tackle the group of three so it can be a little easier to get rid of two" Maka explained her plan as she ran towards the three souls

When they reached the location it was an empty room, the only light allowed Maka to see was the moon light from the outside peering into the window. Makas breathing became silent, a blast came through the wall hitting Maka and sending her to the opposite side of the room, Maka groaned. Soul turned back into his human form and tried to help Maka
