"Hey you look great" September said

"thanks, although this is pretty much what I usually wear" Soul chuckled

"Well you always look great" he winked

Soul chuckled nervously

Is he flirting with me?

"You got a bike too? it looks so cool" Soul said as he looked at it up close

"Yea been having it for a couple years now"

"its dope" they then headed out to the party

They got on Septembers bike with Soul in the back, he put his hands on Septembers shoulders. The air felt perfect and the crescent moon was bright. They went through an alley and reached a backyard garage. There was a crowd inside the garage and some outside.

"this is my friends garage band, they perform here sometimes." September explained

they went inside and regular music was playing in the speakers. The band has not started yet, September guided Soul through the crowd. They reached a person with blond hair, his skin was a cream color, he had heterochromia eyes and was about Souls height

"Yo September" They pulled into a hug and turned to Soul

"This is my co worker Soul" September introduced him

"cool, help yourselves out with the drinks they are inside the red and blue coolers. Sorry to ditch ya so quickly but I am gonna play soon, wanted to say hi quickly" Septembers friend said

"yea its cool man see you after then" September responded, he left the pair standing in a short awkward silence

"this place is cool" Soul said looking around

"yea I think so too. I hope you like their music its pretty awesome to be honest"

"can't wait"

they played cover songs and some of their own. September and Soul bobbed their head back and forth, Soul felt the bass all over his body, he had chills going down his spine from the vocals of the singer. When the band finished playing there was music playin in the speakers once again. Septembers friend came back

"yo what do you guys think?"

"you were dope" Soul bumped fist with him

"raw as hell" September high fived

"Glad to hear, well enjoy the party I am going to talk to some people"

September went to the coolers and took out two drinks, he handed it to Soul unopened.

"I hope you like this drink" It seemed like a beer "not much alcohol"

"I don't really drink" Soul felt a little tense

"just try it, if you don't like it just toss it out" September suggested

There was no pressure in his voice. Soul tried to relax and took a sip, it was an odd bitter sweet taste

"its alright, I guess I can finish this one" Soul said taking another sip

When the party was over Soul drunk ten different kinds drinks and mixes. He was tipsy and felt some sort of tingle in his body, September didn't drink more than his first drink since he was going to drive. September took back Soul home

"tonight was fun, thanks" Soul said, he was smiling with flushed cheeks

"yea thanks for coming with" September chuckled

"I didn't think we would have so much in common to be honest" Soul said

"do I seem different because of how I look?" September teased
