They had gone for a walk in the neighborhood together, Tenten had been recommended besides the prenatal yoga she used to do every day, to walk for at least an hour. So that was the perfect excuse to look for properties for sale. Writing down the different phone numbers and making appointments to see the houses.

The first house they saw was huge, and the truth wasn't very well kept, the brunette next to him seemed a little overwhelmed when she heard the price they were asking and yes, it had seemed excessive to him too. But not because it wasn't within his budget but because for the state it was in it was definitely not worth that amount.

Due to the death of his father he had received his inheritance since he came of age and additionally every month he received an amount for the profits of the company, and if that wasn't enough on his own he had also made some investments in the stock market that yielded a non-negligible percentage, so money wasn't a concern for him.

In the parenting course they had been reprimanded by the instructor for laughing at the plastic baby because Tenten dropped it the first time she picked it up for not measuring the strength properly, he mentioned that since the baby on the way had wings it shouldn't be a big problem because it would fly. For the rest, they tried to pay attention to everything, how to hold his head, how to cure his navel, how to get the gas out of him. Nothing about filing his claws or what to do when he had fangs, a bad service in his opinion.

They also talked to other parents, none as young as his wife but several who were first-timers like them. One couple expecting their second child was telling them that they should relax as they would improvise a lot of things along the way and the babies were more resilient than they looked. In the car they had laughed while Tenten ate an ice cream and fries, that she said was a craving, probably that couple dropped the real baby and not just the plastic one.

A second house was visited and Tenten seemed happy to see it, it was smaller compared to her mother's house and the one they saw before, it was one floor, it had two bedrooms, a decent kitchen, the space for the living room was acceptable, the dining room seemed a little small but he didn't plan to have something for ten seats at most six, and additionally it had a basement, the building was on a good size lot so it could be expanded if necessary.

The price was low, but if they chose that one he would have to pay for the construction to make it suitable. Because in his concept they needed four rooms, the main one, the one for their son on the way, the guest room and one that would become an office with a library. Although the basement could possibly become such an office, it would still fall short of one.

They saw a third option that had five bedrooms and even a swimming pool and was newly remodeled, so if they chose that one they would just have to move in. His wife had gone through the rooms and each of the spaces one by one before twisting her mouth a little, although she didn't say anything in front of the saleswoman who was pointing out the large spaces for their son to run from side to side.

"You didn't like it," she shook her head in denial.

"It feels cold..." he raised an eyebrow as they were in summer. "I mean... it doesn't feel like a home."

"We can keep looking, there's no hurry," he watched her bite her lip and caress her growing belly. "Tell me what are you thinking sweetie."

"I liked the second one, it was..." she didn't say more

"We would have to remodel it."

"I know..." she was silent for a moment, "it's all right, we'll find another one."

"Did you like it that much?"

"It's okay, it's your decision."

"No sweetie, it's our decision," he leaned a little to brush her lips. "I'll call the seller and ask her for the blueprints, but the move will take a little more time."
