Seoul, South Korea
"So, he grabbed your hand and then what?" Miri asked as she stared deeply into Chayoung's eyes. Woojin was listening intently as well while his mouth was busy munching his kimbap.
Chayoung was having lunch with both of his best friends at the hospital's cafetaria. The three muskeeters ate the kimbap lunch Woojin's mom brought to the hospital.
Yup, Woojin is that kid whose mom still visit every now and then to bring him lunch. Woojin was embarassed at first. Chayoung and Miri never missed a chance to tease him about being a big baby boy. But as their friendship grew, Woojin started to embrace his mother's attitude, especially after learning that both Chayoung and Miri lost their mother at very young age.
The two women became closer with Woojin's mother, she even packed extra lunch boxes for Chayoung and Miri who she treated just like her own daughters. It was a new experience for Chayoung and Miri to get that kind of motherly love. Chayoung and Miri became the ones who were excited everytime Woojin's mom came to visit.
"I asked him the obvious, did we meet before?" Chayoung continued her story.
"Oh, oh," Miri nodded, gesturing her to continue on with the story. Chayoung smiled at the sight of her two best friends who were too invested in her encounter with Park Jihong that morning.
"He just plainly answered, ah you didn't remember, then I apologized and excused myself," she finished her story.
"Ya! What a lame respond, you should at least ask more!" Miri scolded her, Woojin quickly gulped dowm his food and jumped in, "I thought something crazy would happen."
Chayoung shrugged her shoulder and continue to eat.
"Aren't you curious though? About where did you two meet? Why did he still remember you? Maybe it's fate," Miri said.
"This girl," Woojin pretended to about to hit Miri. "How can you say that when Chayoung here is very much engaged."
Miri just rolled her eyes at Woojin. "You know life has a funny way to make things happen. You never know who you'll marry!"
"Tsk, if I ended up marrying a girl like you, I would rather just be single for the rest of my life," Woojin scoffed.
"Ya! What's wrong with me?!"
Chayoung was just quiet, ignoring her two friends fighting over stupid stuff and continued to eat her lunch. She too was actually thinking where exactly did she meet Park Jihong? She couldn't remember anything at all.
Suddenly her pager buzzed, she got a call from dr. Addison. Chayoung quickly wrapped up her lunch and stood up. "I have to go, see you around lovebirds," Chayoung said making her two best friends looked at her.
Chayoung left with a loud scream of her name from her two friends.
"YA HONG CHA YOUNG!"
"DO YOU HAVE A DEATH WISH?!"
Chayoung just chuckled. She loved to tease those two whenever they bicker like an old married couple.

It has been a week since Park Jihong joined Seoul Memorial Hospital. The surgical floor has never been more crowded with the appearance of new, handsome, and apparently single doctor in town. The nurses were excited and the female interns were competing to enter cardiology just so they can admire Park Jihong on a daily basis.
