"I think we should close down the Middle East operations, temporarily given the situation."
"This opportunity will not come twice, I think we should go on with the operations while continuing the global expansion."
"What do you think, Mr. Cassano?"
"Sir?"
Vincenzo stopped his flicking with a loud thud, returning his attention back to the Board of Commissioners meeting he paid no attention to for the last one hour. "Go on with the project, but believe me, I want zero mistake on this," Vincenzo finally said, which sounded more like an ultimatum which made the rest of the commissioners in the room nodded almost immediately.
"I will inform the directors-"Vincenzo stood up, which made the rest of the attendees, which consist of Europe's most powerful businessmen and women, did the same. "Thank you for your time to fly here, I will send all of your regards to my Father," Vincenzo said before he exited the room.
He could have ended the meeting right away, but he needed to appreciate his Father's partners, which is now his business partners, for coming all the way to Seoul for their annual meeting. He realized he was not in his A-game today, not after everything that happened with Chayoung for the last two days.
"Sir."
Vincenzo looked at Luca who stood in front of his room. "What is it?" Vincenzo said as he pushed the mahogany door to his office, but Luca held the door's handle. Vincenzo looked at him. "Sir, she insisted. I couldn't-"
Before Luca could finish his sentence, the door swung opened revealing a very excited Veronica who was grinning before him. "OPPA!" She squealed, making Vincenzo closed his eyes and glared at Luca who quickly looked the other way.
"Vero, I told you not to interrupt me during-"
"Office hours, yeah, yeah. But I'm too excited!" Veronica said. Vincenzo thought it was weird that Veronica was being like this again. Ever since they came to South Korea and everything that happened with their Father, she had never seen Veronica this excited about something.
"You will never believe who's here," Veronica squealed, again, before she moved to stand next to Vincenzo and hugged his arm. To Vincenzo's horror, there she stood, the woman he had been avoiding for the last week since her arrival in Seoul. Kang Moyeon.
"I'm sorry if we interrupt you, I told Veronica you already know I'm here and that we met in Switzerland with Jihong. But she still insists," Moyeon smiled apologetically to Vincenzo.
"It's fine. I'm done for the day anyway," Vincenzo said. "How are you settling in?"
Moyeon smiled at Vincenzo's question, even though he didn't look at her for more than five seconds, she was still happy that Vincenzo wasn't as cold as he was when they first met in Switzerland.
"It's great, the Director really helps me..." Moyeon stopped her words when she saw Vincenzo was checking his phone, not really paying attention to her. "Ah, if Oppa is finished for the day why don't we all go to dinner together? Right Eonni, wouldn't it be so fun? Just like old times! I just hope Jihong oppa is here with us," Veronica pouted and took a seat next to Moyeon on the leather couch.
"That would be nice," Moyeon agreed with Vero's offer, and the two started talking among themselves. Vincenzo, on the other hand, furrowed at the texted he just received.
'Seo Miri? What does that brat wants? The last time she texted me was to threathen me for ruining her girl's trio with Chayoung,' Vincenzo thought to himself. He wanted to ignore the text, but his phone buzzed again. It was another message from Miri.
