The Cassano Estate
Seoul, South Korea

The Cassano's family room was quiet busy since the morning. The room were filled with a lot of strangers, wedding organizers to be exact. Of course those few selected vendors had to go trough very strict security and legal procedure just to get into the estate. Due to Chayoung and Vincenzo's busy schedule, they have to plan their wedding during the weekends, even though Chayoung really didn't get much say to what goes into her weddings and Vincenzo rarely attended these meetings with their vendors.

"That looks really beautiful! Eonni, what do you think?" Veronica showed Chayoung the updated design of her wedding shoes. Yes, even her shoes had to be hand-made. Chayoung looked up from her wandering thoughts and smiled to Veronica, giving the 25-year-old a smile nod.

"You are awfully quiet," Catherine sat next to Chayoung on the couch. Chayoung turned her head toward her soon to be mother in law and shook her head. "I'm sorry, Eomma," the surgeon quickly sat up straight. Yes, she had started calling Catherine as 'Eomma'  since last Christmas when Vincenzo announced about their serious relationship to his family. Catherine really insisted with that one.

"Ah I should've scolded Vincenzo for leaving you alone again. That kid," Catherine said.

"It's fine, Eomma. He barely gets a wink of sleep since he arrived in Seoul," Chayoung assured Catherine. The older woman just sighed and patted Chayoung on the shoulder softly.

"Miss Hong, we need to take final measurement for Mr. Cassano," an older man came up to them. He was Vincenzo's personal tailor that flew straight from Italy just to make his wedding suit.

"Let me ask Gerald to get him," Catherine said but Chayoung quickly stopped her. "Ah it's better if I come get him," Chayoung said and quickly stood up. Catherine looked at Chayoung and nodded, knowing how Vincenzo could easily get irritated if he was being disturbed when he's working.

Chayoung then walked to Vincenzo's study, knocking twice before she pushed the door opened. Strangely, she didn't find Vincenzo inside. 'Is he still sleeping?' Chayoung frowned then headed to Vincenzo's room that was located quiet far on the second floor.

After exactly a ten-minute walk, Chayoung finally reached Vincenzo's room at the end of the hallway. She pushed the door slowly and walked inside. The bed was empty and there was no one inside the room which looked more like a five-star hotel suite than a bedroom.

"Vin?" Chayoung called out as she walked around the room, but there was no answer. The bathroom was empty too. 'Gerald said he came home last night, did he go again?' Chayoung thought to herself. Then she noticed Vincenzo's phone that was sitting on the nightstand and Chayoung glanced at her watch.

"Ah I forgot.. he must be in the shooting range with Luca," Chayoung remembered that Vincenzo went shooting every Sunday morning. She was about to stand up when Vincenzo's phone buzzed. She didn't put much thought on it and was about to leave when his phone buzzed again, causing Chayoung to look at it.

She just accidentally glanced at the phone and didn't even pick it up, but she still could read the message notification that popped on the screen. "From Kang Moyeon". Chayoung's heart skipped a beat. She stood still, staring at the phone until the screen went black again.
