Liam and I decided on a small wedding of course it's bigger than Tyler and I's but still small, we planned on being married at the same place that the reception is going to take place. That way we don't have to change venues or anything and everyone could stay where they planned on sitting for the actual wedding. My favorite part of this whole experience was the dress shopping, I found the perfect dress, the back is sheer with diamonds and flowers running down till the end of my spine. It then goes down and flows out just enough so I can walk, I'll have my hair down, slightly curled off to the side with diamond dangle earrings, along with a bracelet. Liam and I picked out our song and decided on I love you this big By Scotty McCreery, it's a beautiful song that's not really slow but it describes us perfectly and how big our love is for each other. The wedding is at three and it's noon now so I have to eat lunch then get ready to become Miss. Liam Henning. I can't wait, I'm actually going to take Liam's name because I didn't take Tyler's so I want this one to be done the right way. I decided not to have bridesmaids and Liam decided not to have groomsmen or anything, so we can get ready on our own, we don't want people breathing down our necks. The only people who are allowed in the room with us are the parents and Payton. I decided that for my make-up I would keep it simple eyeliner, mascara, light brown eyeshadow, and burgundy lip gloss. I slipped into my white heels, slipping on my dress fixing my hair before putting on my jewelry, I was finally ready when there was a knock on the door. Miranda walked over to see who it was and let them in, I smiled walking over to the man that I consider my father and gave him a hug.
"Hey Rick, is he nervous?"
"No, he's just scared you won't be there."
Miranda walked out of the room, I'm guessing to check on Liam to make sure he's okay. Rick and I looked at each other, I took a deep breath before smiling at him, he smiled back at me.
"You look beautiful Elena."
"Thank you, I wonder how Payton looks."
"I saw her in the hall, she looks so cute, you did a good job."
I smiled letting out a small laugh before thanking him.
"Do you think he'll be there, when I walk down the aisle?"
"He would be an idiot if he wasn't."
I smiled, having no clue what to say, here I stood in the most beautiful gown and all I could think about was him leaving me. The music started signaling that it was time for me to walk down the aisle, that is when all hell broke loose in my head and in my heart. Miranda came into the room, shaking her head, I knew he was gone, tears ran down my face. I was a total mess, I knew he wouldn't be there, I just didn't want to believe it. Payton walked into the room in her little dress and flats looking as cute as ever, she gave me a hug.
"Mommy, Liam's still here, he's waiting for you, I think he was just scared."
I looked at her a second then I looked at Rick, he walked out of the room to see if she was right when he came back he had a smile on his face. I knew that he was waiting for me, I walked over to the mirror fixing my make-up as I heard the music start playing again. Payton walked out of the room followed by Liam's mom who would go out first just because she had to take her seat at her table. Payton walked down the isle letting go of little blue flower petals as she traveled down the aisle to stand next to her soon to be grandmother. Rick looked at me, I smiled at him, we linked our arms and the music continued to play as we walked down the aisle. I saw Liam standing there with an apologetic look on his face, I shook my head at him, when I got in front of him the music stopped and I mouthed a few words to him.
"You are in big trouble."
He frowned before we looked at the minister who started the vows.
"Do you Elena Zen take Liam Henning to be your lawfully wedded husband..."
"I do."
"Do you Liam Henning take Elena Zen to be your lawfully wedded wife..."
"I do."
We smiled at each other, and the minister asked for the rings, asking us to repeat after him.
"With this ring I thee wed."
Liam said slipping the ring on my finger, I smiled up at him.
"With this ring I thee wed."
I slipped the ring onto his finger, he smiled down at me, we both looked at the minister waiting for him to say the words.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride."
Before I knew it I was being dipped down to where my long hair almost touched the floor and Liam's lips were on mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck, everything around us seemed to disappear, we pulled apart and everything came back to me: the clap's, the cheers, the whistles, everything. I stood up straight as Payton handed me my bouquet which I threw over my head to let some random girl catch. I turned around to see my little girl holding the bouquet in her tiny hands. I let out a laugh as I saw the huge smile on her face. She ran giving me a hug, I whispered a quick I love you letting her go and moved off the stand so they could put it away and move back the tables to make a bigger dance floor. Liam and I's song came on and we walked to the dance floor, he placed his hands on my waist while I placed my arms around his neck. We stood there swaying to the music holding each other close before I broke the silence between the both of us.
"I thought you were leaving me today."
He looked me in the eyes.
"No, I had a momentary lapse of what was going on, I made a choice, it was the wrong one. I thought about going for a second but turned right back around and stood up there waiting for you."
"You're so in the dog house."
I let out in a kind laugh as he kissed me real quick before pulling away leaning his forehead against mine. I smiled and just before the song ended Payton came over she lightly tugged on my dress, I leaned down picking her up.
"What is it baby?"
"Mommy are you happy?"
I smiled looking from her to Liam who was looking at me expectantly.
"Yes, I'm very happy."
She smiled giving me a hug, I kissed her cheek and she looked at Liam.
"Liam, since you married my mommy does that make you my daddy."
"It makes me your step-daddy but not your daddy, Tyler will always be your daddy."
She nodded her head understanding what he was saying.
"Can I call you daddy?"
He let out a small chuckle.
"I don't think that is a good idea sweetie."
"Okay."
I put her down and she ran off to do goodness knows what, the rest of the night was spent dancing, laughing, and kissing the love of my life. I couldn't have been happier than I was that day in those moments, that day my life fell into place. My daughter got the father she had always wanted even though she already had a good one, at least in this case now she has two good one's. My life at this moment is perfect and I wouldn't want it any other way, the only thing that could make this better is if I had another baby.
