~7/25/12~

It's been nine days and I finally noticed that Liam's last day of high school is in three days, now that the end of the year is close I want to help him study for his finals. Tyler and Payton are getting along really well, I let them watch movies in the living room while I help Liam study. I know I can trust Tyler with her because I know he'll never hurt her in any way, it was only me and I know he regrets it. Liam has three finals on Wednesday, three on Thursday, and two on Friday, he has a busy week ahead of him and I need to be there for him no matter what. We decided that on Tuesday we would study the first three classes, Wednesday we would study the other three since he had two study halls that cut his eight classes down to six. I couldn't help him much with math so it's a good thing that he's good at that, but the rest of it I could help him with. Even though I wasn't in school and that made me feel really good about myself, most of the time we finished his studying by nine-thirty. That gave him plenty of rest since Liam and I went to bed early so did Payton and she didn't like that at all.

"I don't wanna go to bed."

She whined, I picked her up carrying her to her room, I put her in her pjs so I could put her to bed, she tried to get up and I gave her a stern look.

"Payton Marie Moore if you get out of that bed I will put you in time out don't make me do it young lady."

She looked at me with sad eyes, that was the first time I ever had to put my foot down with her, it kinda made me sad. At the same time though it made me feel like a real mom for once instead of a best friend, she looked at me with a small smile on her face. She soon broke the short silence that was between us and I knew that she was still my good baby girl.

"Alright mommy, good night, I love you."

"I love you too baby."

I walked out of the room shutting off the light on my way out before starting my walk down the hall. I made it to the bedroom door when I heard squeaking coming from Payton's room, I thought to myself, 'Damn I thought she was going to make this easy'. I walked back to her room looking through the crack in the door to see her jumping on the bed, I opened the door turning the lights on.

"Payton Marie Moore, what did I say!?"

She fell onto the soft mattress looking down at her hands, I walked over to the bed picking her up carrying her down the hall into my bedroom. I walked over to the corner of the room by the bed and made her stand there a second before explaining the rules of the time out corner.

"This is the time out corner you will stand here and you won't move until I tell you that you can, do you understand me?"

She nodded her head turning to face the wall crossing her arms with a pout on her face, I walked to the dresser grabbing a pair of spandex shorts, and a black tank top walking to Liam whispering in his ear.

"If she moves, tell me, I'll take care of it when I get back alright?"

He nodded his head and I walked out of the room, to the bathroom to do my night things, when I was finished with that I walked back to the bedroom throwing my clothes in the hamper. I walked over to the bed I sat there and looked at Liam silently asking him if she moved at all and he shook his head. I nodded my head letting him know that I understand what he was saying, I looked over at Payton who was falling asleep on the wall. I sighed looking at her before looking away and saying her name, she looked up and I waved her over.

"Mommy loves you very much, believe me I hated this just as much as you did, please just do what I tell you to do alright it will make thing's a lot easier for the both of us."

She nodded her head and looked at me with tired sleepy eyes, I gave her a small smile before picking her up carrying her to her bedroom. I walked into the room laying her down on the bed, kissing her cheek before walking out of the room back to mine for the fourth time tonight. I walked into the room and looked to see that it was now ten thirty-five, I walked over to the bed and saw that Liam was already fast asleep. I shut off the lights closing the door for the night, I soon fell into a deep sleep of my own loving every second of it.
