~2 Yrs Later~

It's been two years since my son was brought into this world on this very day, I can't believe my baby boy is two. My little girl isn't so little any more or so she thinks she's only six and thinks that she's like sixteen, Liam and I are both twenty-one now. My family makes me laugh more and more every day, I didn't know it was possible to love someone as much as I love these three people. They're my life, my heart, they're the reason my heart beats everyday I couldn't ask for a better family to give my heart to, I was pulled out of my loving thoughts by my husband's voice ringing through my ears.

"Elena people are beginning to show up!"

"Alright, I'll be down in a minute!"

I quickly finished my make-up just like always, my eyeliner, mascara, and a tiny bit of eye shadow to show off my green eyes. I walked out of the bathroom into Liam and I's room to put my make-up in it's drawer, I walked to the living room greeting our guests for Landon's birthday party. When I got to the bottom of the stairs Landon ran to me with a smile on his face giggling, I held my arms out for him. When he got to me I lifted him off the floor spinning around hugging him, his beautiful laugh filling the room. I put him back on the floor when Liam came over placing a single sweet kiss on my lips before wrapping his arms around my waist.

"I can't believe he's two, I feel old."

He just laughed at my stupidity.

"Yeah, you're so old Elena."

I laughed and stuck my tongue out like always probably teaching Payton and Landon bad things, hey I never said I was the best mom just the best that I can be, Payton ran over to me.

"Mom, when are we going to have cake and ice cream?"

I let out a little laugh.

"We'll have cake and ice cream after your brother opens his presents."

I pointed to the table full of gifts and some on the floor, I then looked at her to see her jaw was dropped.

"Are you serious? That's like a gazillion presents it's going to take forever for him to open all of them."

"Well then I guess it's going to take forever for you to get cake and ice cream."

She was so mad she stomped off and Liam called her back over to us, I looked at him in confusion as he looked at me.

"I'm not gonna let her act like that, nor am I going to let her treat you like that your her mom and deserve a lot more respect than that."

"Liam she's six she doesn't know what she's doing just let it go alright."

"Alright."

Payton came back over to us, I looked at her and so did Liam.

"Never mind, I just wanted to say I love you hun, you may not be my blood daughter but I'll always consider you my daughter."

She smiled, giving him a hug before walking back outside to play with the other kids, I looked at Liam hugging him close. It was soon time for Landon to open his gifts, it took us three hours for him to finish that, three hours before we could eat and to say the least I was starving. We cut the cake and dished out the ice cream, we laughed, and talked until people started to leave. The rest of our night was spent cleaning the house, I couldn't help but think to thank Tyler the next time that I see him. If my kidnapper wouldn't have loved me to extreme measure's I would've never had the life that I have now.

So thank you to the kidnapper who loved me.
