Today Tyler and I get to take Payton home, thankfully we got the heat finally working in her room. Tyler talked to Alex, Alex apologized for his behavior, so Tyler has his friend back and our little girl has a warm nursery to go home to. After Tyler and I filled out the paperwork, we received our copy of the birth certificate, we smiled placing Payton in her car seat taking her to her new home. The ride home was quiet as Payton was fast asleep in her seat, Tyler glanced back at her with a smile on his face and bright happy blue eyes. He gently took my hand in his bringing it to his lips placing a soft feathery kiss to it, he looked at me for a second before focusing back on the road, out of nowhere Tyler's voice broke the silence.

"I love you, you know that right?"

My eyebrows knitted together in confusion, I looked at him.

"Of course I know that, I love you too."

He took a deep breath keeping his eyes focused on the road ahead.

"Tyler is everything alright?"

He didn't speak right away instead he just stayed focused on the road and thought for a minute.

"I have to tell you something when we get home, but I want to get Payton settled in first alright?"

I nodded my head.

"Alright."

I turned my head looking out the window pondering over what he could possibly want to tell me. After we got home we made sure that Payton was all settled into her crib fast asleep, I walked out of her room. I went to the bedroom but when I didn't see Tyler I went to the living room where I sat next to him on the couch, he stayed quiet with his head in his hands.

"What did you need to tell me?"

His head from his hands so I could see his face, but all I saw was a single tear sliding down his face, I knew that what he had to tell me was going to be something bad.

"I need to tell you something and I know for a fact that you're not going to like it at all, in fact you might kick me out and suggest a lot of irrational things that I don't ever want."

I started to get worried so I took his hand in mine.

"Tyler whatever it is I'm sure it's not that bad, we can get through it, tell me what's going on?"

He took a deep shaky breath.

"The other night when I came home from the hospital, I found the front door unlocked, when I came in I found Layla laying on our bed. She tried to get me to have sex with her, she kissed me and I made the mistake of kissing her back."

As Tyler told me what happened I felt my heart breaking, I could hear it cracking in my ears, I didn't want to believe what I was hearing, but I know that Tyler never lies to me.

"We ended up on the bed and the second she pulled away I knew it was wrong, she wasn't you I pushed her away and kicked her out. Nothing happened, I swear I just never want to lie to you, I never want to keep secrets from you, I always want you to know the truth. Baby please believe me when I say absolutely nothing happened I swear it, I never let it get that far. I love you so much and I'm so sorry, I know I hurt you but please know that I love you."

After he finished what he had to say I stood from the couch, as I looked at him I knew that he felt horrible for what happened. However that doesn't change the fact that he still cheated, weather he pushed her away or not, weather it was sex or not.

"I understand that you're sorry, I love you too but you still cheated and that's not okay, so I'm going to have you sleep out here on the couch. I'm going to think about everything and we will talk about this tomorrow, I'm going to take a shower and get ready for bed. I suggest getting all of your things from our room before I get out of the shower, goodnight Tyler."

I left him there on the couch as I walked away to take my shower before getting out and going to bed feeling cold and alone for the first time in the longest time.
