Part 5 || try and catch me

I just realized this ff's gonna be mostly Jungwon's POV in the start HAHAHAHA

Jungwon's POV

Y/N: "come on!" She pulled both Jay and I towards an open field filled with snow. When we got close she let both of us go and literally jumped on the snow. Jay followed behind her and I stopped right before the snow could touch me.

Jay: "Jungwon! Come on it's so fun!" They made snowballs and threw them at each other laughing the whole time

Jungwon: "I'll just sit and watch you guys get frostbite" they rolled their eyes and continued playing. I sat down on one of the benches and sighed letting me see smoke come out of my mouth

Y/N's POV

I turned my head making the snow hit my hair. I chuckled and threw a bigger one at Jay.

Jay: "wait wait stop, let's pause I'm kinda tired" we went near each other and laughed seeing how much snow was on us.

Y/N: "thanks for coming with me Jay"

Jay: "of course, I want us to get closer and also... I think you're the only one who can get Jungwon to like winter again" I tilted my head and faced Jungwon. He was sitting on a bench using his phone.

Y/N: "why do you say that?" He brought his mouth to a thin line and shrugged

Jay: "I don't know, just a feeling" I rolled my eyes and took a deep breathe to sigh letting me see smoke come out of my mouth

Y/N: "I just want him to see that winter isn't all that bad. It's beautiful if you look past its flaws" He scoffed and faced the other way

Jay: "too bad, Jungwon only looks at the flaws." I stayed quiet for a while until he started talking again "actually, Jungwon used to be the happiest kid but something happened and he just became really cold"

Y/N: "well you can always find warmth somewhere in the cold" he faced me making me face him too "sorry that's what my dad always said"

Jay: "no no it's actually really nice and I just wish Jungwon finds warmth again..."

Jungwon's POV

I look up from my phone and I could see them talking. A few glances later and they started playing again. Don't they get tired or cold? Jay threw a snowball at y/n and she was covered in white. She laughed showing her bright smile. I didn't wanna think it but I couldn't help but say she was kinda cute. Y/n ran up to me and grabbed my arm pulling me towards the snow.

Jungwon: "hey let go of me! I told you I don't wanna- WOAH!" She pushed me making me fall face first in the snow

Y/N: "whoops" she said sarcastically like she didn't push me at all

Jungwon: "y/n" I said her name while growling and got up to chase her down. She started running and I started to chase after her.

Y/N: "JAY AHHHHHH HELP ME!!"

Jay: "GO GET HER JUNGWON!"

Y/N: "JAY!" I chuckled and she glared back at me. Because of that she slowed down and I tackled her down on the snow. Her back hit the ground (but she didn't get hurt cuz the snow was soft) and my hands were on her shoulders. We panted for a while recovering from the chase. We stared at each other for a few seconds neither of us moving. Her hair was covered in snow and some were on her face. I don't know what came over me but I reached out and moved the snow off her face using my thumb. She didn't flinch but just kept eye contact with me. I pushed her hair back and stared at her lips. They were pink and not pale although it was cold. I look back up at her and she was breathing heavily still.

Jay: "guys" both of us turned to Jay and I picked myself up off of her. I brushed the snow from my clothes and cleared my throat

Jay's POV

I saw what happened when Jungwon fell on top of her. Y/n would've freaked out or at least flinched but she didn't even try moving a muscle. So does that means she wasn't scared of Jungwon at all?

Jay: "guys" they panicked and stood up looking nervous

Y/N: "come on, let's go have fun some more" before she ran off I grabbed her wrist stopping her

Jay: "I think we had enough fun for today"

Jungwon: "no fun at all" I tilted my head towards him and gave him a bored look

Jay: "I'll bring you home y/n, Jungwon you can go ahead" he didn't even acknowledge but just walked away from the both of us. Y/n and I strayed walking back to her home. "I saw what happened there"

Y/N: "w-what are you talking about?" She asked looking down

Jay: "don't act all clueless, you know what I mean"

Y/N: "fine, but Jay! Why didn't I flinch?! Why didn't I move? I always flinch when I suddenly come in contact with another boy unexpectedly because of my trauma" I had a thought in the back of my head on why but I don't think I should say it now

Jay: "well whatever it is, isn't it a good sign?"

Y/N: "I don't know..."

Jay: "let's change the topic, where do you wanna go tomorrow?"

Y/N: "hmmm let's just go and eat some hot ramyeon after our study group tomorrow. You know, that'd be a nice break after a few days of activities" I nodded and kept my hands in my pockets

Jay: "true"
