I think I'm gonna die alone
I call only to hear his dial tone
I can only ride alone
We're in different time zones
But he tells me that I'm not alone
During one of my nights at home
I got a gift from someone unknown
Said to meet at the planes landing zone
Turns out it was him all along
He was the person unknown
I would have to live alone
He even took out an entire student loan
Just so I wouldn't have to hear his dial tone
He couldn't tell me via phone
Cause I would've said no in a defiant tone
I should have known
That he didn't want me to fight this battle alone
I just wanna make it known
That I'm not going to die alone
At least not anymore.....
