(okay I didn't know what to name this so random notes it is:)
Random notes
Makeshift friendships
That were never gonna last
Always a group of three
Plus, the one left on the outside
Usually, the one left behind while trying to tie their shoe
Or walking on the grass because there wasn't enough room
They always exchanged valentines
Into little boxes with pink hearts
Because after all they were all 'friends'
"Save me a seat at the table"
"Will you play tag with me during recess?"
"Wait for me once you get off the bus"
"Can you help me with the homework after school?"
They never listened
Left me on delivered time after time
Again, and again
They never listen to a word that I said
Apparently, they never got any of the messages that I sent
They always left me out of the group activities
Even though I've known them since I was five
No matter how hard I tried to stay in the loop
It was always the three of them
Even the Halloween costumes they choose
Were planned for a trio to do
So I was left all alone
Had to sit somewhere else
Maybe I'll go to the library today
No, I can't
You're not allowed to eat in there
I end up just walking around until the bell rings
Signaling the beginning of the next period
Always invited to the birthday parties
But ended up just sitting alone
The only time they cared
Was when I let my guard down
Otherwise, who knows where I would be today
I still wanted to commit suicide
No matter how hard people tried
I still felt truly alone
In this hard world
That was until I meet this girl
From the moment we meet
I knew we would be best of friends
And thanks to her I've never felt like i've belonged more
