it was getting later in the night and i was sitting on my phone in bed. contemplating wether or not to call Amity or wait for her to call me. after about three minutes of my ass just staring at her contact in my phone i sigh and press the call button. i sit up as i put the phone against my ear. i hear the ringing and then it got cut off. "hey Luz." i hear softly on the other side of the phone.

"hey Ams." i start to feel my heart beat grow quicker and quicker by the second. pull yourself together asshole. "how has your night been?" i ask the girl at the other end of the phone.

"good. it's gotten a lot better since you called me." she jokes, laughing on her end of the phone.

"oh yeah?" i question as a smile grows on my face. "mine has been pretty good too. although, it would be much better with you here." i flirt with her as i feel heat rise to my face.

we flirt and talk with one another for around an hour. i sent her the video from earlier in the day and she jokingly got upset that i lied about deleting it. by that time it was almost ten at night. we decided to say our goodbyes and hang up. i lay my back on my bed and smile to myself. i send Amity a goodnight text and then turn on my alarm. i turn off my lamp and stare at the ceiling thinking about my day with the green haired girl. i put my forearm over my eyes and smile again. this girl is too damn perfect.

i wake up to my alarm blaring and get up, shutting it off. i went on with my morning like usual except i text Amity a lot more. she made sure to remind me to ask Gus and Willow to join the band, she's a personal sticky note. i thank her as i walk down the driveway to school. once i get there everything was like usual. i told Willow and Gus that i needed to talk to them at lunch which they seemed concern about, but i made sure to tell them it was no big deal.

as i sit at the lunch line with my friends i see Amity walk inside the cafeteria, going and sitting with her usual group of people. once we grabbed lunch we walk to our table and i sit across both of my friends. "so i'm sure you guys are wondering why i told you i need to talk to you." i say putting my head on one of my hands.

"yes, we do. and it's mildly concerning." Gus states taking a bite of his chicken. Willow just nodding along.

"i want you two to join my band. it's for the night club, i got Amity to join and she was able to get Boshca and Skara to join." i become serious about it, i really wanted them to join.

"i'm in." Willow says straight away, perking up when i said Boshca's name. i give them a confused look.

"Willow and Boshca are dating, don't tell anyone." Gus replies knowing what i was thinking. i make an 'O' shape with my mouth. "i would love to join, but i work for Tibbles. i don't know how he'll feel about me being in a band since i'm supposed to be the host." Gus finished, putting his fork down into his food.

"Amity said she's willing to talk to him about you maybe doing both. me and her have been talking a lot and practice will be at my place after school." i try to convince him. he lets out a sigh and looks back to me.

"i'll show up at your place after school, and just check it out. and how do you even know that we play instruments?" he questioned me cocking his head to the side.

"Amity told me, she said you play the guitar and Willow plays piano." i tell them both, they agreed that made sense. they both agree to come over after school and i give them my address. for the rest of lunch we just sit and talk about random things.

the bell rings and we part ways. i couldn't wait to tell Amity the news. i enter and take a seat next to the smaller Blight, she was writing down notes that were on the board. "well hello Noceda." she greets me not even looking up from her paper. i smile as i start to get ready for class.

"well hello to you too cutie." i flirt back to her. "i got some news." she raises her head and looks to me with a questioning look. on queue the bell rings again and class starts. i rip i piece of paper out of my notebook and start to write in it about what happened during lunch. once done i hand it to her and i watch her skim the paper, a smile grew on her face. she quickly writes on it and hands it back.

'that's amazing! i'm happy Willow said yes! i'll make sure to talk to Tibbles so don't worry, also it'll be great to have them come so they can help get all the instruments we have set up and cleaned. i'll make sure to text Skara and Boshca and see if they can come too.' i smile at the paper and turn back to the girl next to me looking over at the teacher. she had her head in her hand and the other one on her lap. i grew this urge to grab her hand and hold it. i mean hell, we were in the back of the class and no one could see since it was a conjoined table... fuck it.

i reach my hand over and grab hers, it startled her a little bit causing her to look at me. i intertwine our fingers and look over to the teacher trying not to make eye contact with Amity. from the corner of my eye i see her turn back to the lecture and feel her hold my hand back. i'm so fucking proud of myself.
