Amity p.o.v

i wake up, super excited for this weekend. everything went on like normal except i drove with the twins to school. they gave me a lecture in the car, telling me to be safe and to stay close to Luz at the club. i wave them off telling them i'll be fine. i meet up with Skara and Boshca, they were excited to finally go to the club for the first time. i give them a rundown on what's okay there and what isn't, like taking photos or videos.

my day goes on as normal; thinking about the day prior during first and second period, eating lunch and always glancing over to Luz, holding hands during third period with Luz, passing notes during fourth period, being bored again during fifth, seeing Luz for sixth and talking occasionally.

me, Bochca, and Skara wait for Luz outside. we all go to Boshca's car and get in. we talk about getting coffee before practice, which we agree to. i pay for mine and Luz's drinks, when leaning back over from handing Boshca the money i feel Luz's hand grab mine. she intertwines our fingers and i look over to her. she brings my hand up and kisses the back of it, looking me in the eyes. i feel my face turn red, she mouths 'you're cute' to me. we are literally in my best friends car, is right now really the time to flirt with me?

i hold her hand all the way to the owl house. we hop out and meet up with Willow and Gus. Gus looked super excited for something. "so guys, i have some news." we all look at each other and then back to him. "so my boyfriend is coming to town, and he's going to meet us up at the club!"

"you're gay?" Boshca asks taking a drink of her coffee. "i always saw you dating girls."

"i'm bi, but anyways, his name is Matt. he's a little hardheaded, but he's a really sweet guy when you get to know him." he tells us, smiling. we all fully accept him bringing his boyfriend. Luz takes a drink of her coffee and then purse her lips, looking at us.

"i don't trust him." she says shrugging her shoulders, i elbow her in the side. "what? i just don't trust people with the name Matt. last Matt i met talked shit about me and so i beat his ass." she try's to defend herself. all of us either giving her a look of disapproval or facepalmed. "okay, okay. i'm sorry Gus. i'll keep my thoughts to myself."

"you really aren't the best with sincerity, huh?" Willow questions raising an eyebrow. she shakes her head no and then points to me with her thumb.

"i saw Amity cry and felt bad for that. i like to think it only is to certain people." i pinch the bridge of my nose. i'm in love with a dumbass.

after that fiasco we give Gus and Willow their coffees. we head into the band room and start getting ready for our first day of practice. Eda walks in with a box and yells for Luz. she snaps her head from her drum set and runs over, grabbing it out of her hands. i go and walk up to her at the couch as she pulls out a small pocket knife from her shoe and opens the package. at this point i'm not even going to question that she literally brings weapons to school.

i sit next to her as she opens it "fuck yeah, i told you it would come in today." she exclaims, taking the polaroid camera out of its packaging and looking at it. i grab it from her and open the cartridge for her. so she can put in the film. she thanks me and puts it in, then closing it. she needed a screwdriver to open the place to put batteries, she runs out and goes to grab it and batteries. everyone walking up with confused looks.

"what's that for?" Skara asks point to the camera on the table. i try not to blush as i try to think of something to say about it.

"it's to take photos. yesterday Luz talked about getting it." i say trying to stay calm. i'm not going to lie to them but i'm not going to tell them the exact reason she bought it. Luz runs in and unscrews the back, putting batteries in and closing it up.

"perfect! now everyone group together! i'm going to test it." she says standing and pointing it at everyone. we all smile for the photo and a bright flash blinds us. Luz waits for it to print and then sets it on the table, waiting for it to develop. once it does she picks it up and looks at it. "it looks great guys!" she says handing it it around for everyone to see. Skara picks up the camera and points it a Luz, she pushes me lightly motioning me to go stand next to her.

"i want to take a photo of you two!" she exclaims. i walk over and stand next to Luz, she wraps her arm around my waist and pulls me closer to her. i smile to the camera and Skara holds up a thumbs up, Luz bends down and kisses my cheek as the photo was being taken. "awe! that one will be cute!" Skara exclaims, my face turning red as i look to Luz. she was just smiling down to me, knowing fully well what she did.

"you guys are so cute it's sickening." Boshca says taking a hit off of Willows dab pen. Skara hands us our photo and then turns the camera to the pink haired girl and Willow. Willow puts her arm around Boshca's shoulders and smiles lightly. Boshca just blows out the smoke as the picture was being taken.

me and Luz look at our photo once it was fully developed. it shows her kissing my cheek as i smile with my eyes closed, i had a hand on her chest and she had her arm wrapped around me. i honestly really liked the photo. "you look really pretty in this." i hear Luz mumble next to me. i look to see her smiling down at the photo, i could tell she liked it a lot.

"keep it." say to her with a smile, i kiss her cheek and take a step back. she looks to me and smiles, thanking me. seeing her like this made my heart skip beats.
