"You are quite the diamond, aren't you?"

Iris glared at Matthew, "you're not going to get away from this. You messed with the wrong people."

Matthew laughed, "I have always loved a challenge."

"Is that why you go around trying to steal other people's women? You couldn't let your brother be happy for once in his life?"

"You have no idea what you're talking about!" Matthew roared. "Crystal was the love of my life! He's the one who killed her."

"You threatened him to make a choice between his people and his family!"

"Because I wouldn't have hesitated! I would have chosen Crystal and Jack without a second to think about."

Iris thought back to Jack; it had been a month since she was put in this cell, yet she didn't blame her team. Eavesdropping on the guards' conversation, she figured out about the time difference between her earth and this one.

Out of all the days she'd been here, Jack made it feel like she wasn't a prisoner.

If Caitlin and Ronnie had a child, it'd be Jack, but he only resembled the couple. The child's personality was a copy of his father's; he had Ron's charisma and jokes, but also a coldness to him, he only talked to a few people.

"Then why choose the people now? Why are you so hungry for power that you're willing to kill your own brother?"

"My brother chose the wrong answer. He got Crystal killed. He doesn't deserve mercy, or his people."

"Matt! Matt!"

Iris and Matthew scowled at each other as they heard Jack call out.

They didn't break eye contact until the sound of roaring bullets cried through the room.

Iris smiled, "I believe that's my husband."

"We'll see about that."

He grabbed Iris by the elbow, pulling her up and pushed her outside the makeshift cell.

Outside the room, all the guards were found lying on the floor, passed out.

Matthew was flabbergasted as he saw Barry, Frost, Caitlin, Savitar, and Ron with Xavier and Jack.

"Uncle Matt!" Jack laughed, "look, we made them all go to sleep!"

"Xavier!" Matthew thundered.

"Sir. I-I..."

"Xavier, please escort Jack to the playground," Ron commanded.

Xavier nodded and followed the instructions, trying his best not to make eye contact with his former leader.

"It's actually hilarious," Savitar started, "how you dared to take our devices, come to your earth, and try to kill our teammate, thinking we wouldn't intervene."

"Take one more step and I'll kill her."

Savitar laughed, "did you forget?"

Before Matthew could respond, Barry ran to Iris and back, his wife securely in his arms.

"We're speedsters."

Matthew looked around frantically, "so, what? You're going to kill me?"

"No, why would I let you off that easily?" Ron sighed, tired of all the fighting he'd done. "You rather die and 'be with Crystal' then face the consequences of your actions. Brother, you've caused more pain to our people than anyone has ever done. How can I kill you when there are people lining up to do the same? You've tortured innocents by making them your power slaves and forced everyone to live in this dictatorship that you've created! You only have Jack alive because of his manipulative powers."
