Shifters have a propensity to be a pain in the ass. they can change form easily and it's a nearly impregnable disguise, the only way to find them out is the very light rainbow shimmer on the surface of their skin.

Their voices aren't that good though, It always has a slightly noticeable wispy and ethereal sound to it. Because of this, they try to disguise it by being loud and sounding in pain. using our natural instincts to help each other against us.

Once they catch a victim they use a spear made out of their own flesh and bone and stab the victim through the stomach, ensuring the victim dies slowly.

When the victim is prepared they start eating them, With the arms and legs going first. they work their way to center mass until only the skeleton remains.

there are variants to them as well, 3 to be exact. Reds, greys, and greens.

The feeding cycle above is that of a red. Reds are incredibly sadistic and violent, hunting humans exclusively and reveling in our pain.

Greys are not sadistic but they still hunt humans, just not exclusively. Animals are the ones they hunt mostly, they use their mimicry to mimic the voice and calls of large and small animals alike. Once a grey has had a taste of human, it can turn into a Red.

Greens are pretty nice, they are entirely passive to humans, hunting animals exclusively. They are shockingly friendly to humans, Once a man got lost and injured in the woods. A green shifter found him and kept him fed for 11 days until he was found by search and rescue.

I once saw a green. they told me their name was Amica. Although it was in my own voice which creeped me out. I dont think they have their own voices, if they do they dont use them often if at all. I've also fought Reds and Greys, but I dont really have anything interesting as a story about them.

Overall Reds are assholes, Greys are annoying, and Greens are cool as fuck. -Void
